> Why do patch notes come out AFTER a patch? <
So players don't know what to exploit in case they have to roll it back.
The stuff we are allowed to know is probably in the Training Room patch notes which have been up for a week(ish).
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
In other games (MMOs) I've seen patch notes placed on the websites during the server downtime.
Yet in this game it is not the case, in fact, I've seen patch notes posted almost a day later in the past. Does anyone know why this is? Because it would be nice to see them during the server downtime so that we have something interesting to do when we should be working |
Check it out!! Patch notes for the next patch headed our way!!

Biggest Troll on the forums? I'll give you a hint:
Late Live Patch Notes should never be a problem because you just look up the last Patch Notes on Test.
Late *Test* Patch Notes are a problem, especially during Beta. There's no need to keep them 'secret' in case you're fixing an exploit or there's a rollback... it's just Test.
Lighthouse used to post them ahead of time. It's a practice I wish would return.

I wish they hadn't driven Lighthouse off.

I tend to disagree with the look at the test server patch notes listed on the forum. The launcher/updater has a link to patch notes that are rarely updated promptly. Since the patch notes are, "already known", and since it's listed on the forum for the (public) beta, why not update the official page/link promptly?
Even exploits can be listed in a censored version.
