Morality Missions

I've read as much as I can about doing tip missions and doing for one side (vigilante.) I now have 10 vigilante alignments missions done. About how long will it take for a morality mission to drop? I can do more tips (have 2 yet to investigate) but why bother? Should I just do regular (scanner) missions until one drops? I am level 50 and did all the contacts blueside.

The next tip mission you do will actually trigger your morality mission. That is, of course, as long as your little alignment bar is full. You know, you do five tip missions, then wait 20 hours before doing another five. Simply doing ten tips missions in one run won't work, sadly.

Actually it drops like any other tip mission anytime after you've complete the 10th mission. I got mine inside the 10th but only because I kept clearing the map after I completed it.

So the answer is yes, a little street sweeping or running a regular (scanner) mission should make the morality drop pretty quickly. Just make sure you have room for it (have less than 3 tips needing investigation).

You need to buy Going Rogue and then successfully apply it to your account before you can do a Morality Mission. If you did not, you can still do Tip Missions and enter the Alignment Lounges, you can also buy Alignment Merits inside the Alignment Lounge, but you can't do Morality Missions.

Did you buy Going Rogue yet?

Oh yeah, forgot you have to actually own GR to get a morality mission. Good catch.

This is not correct. Tip missions and morality missions are NOT the same thing. Once you have a full progress bar toward an alignment, the next time you would have gotten a tip mission you will get a morality mission INSTEAD. This can be seen in the tip window as they are labeled differently. What we are calling 'tip missions' are called "Alignment" missions and the morality mission will actually say "Vigilante Morality Mission". Unlike a tip mission, it is NOT multiple choice.

A morality mission will drop just as quickly as a tip mission would. They are both random and have the same frequency. Of course, you will only get a morality mission after your progress bar is full.

You can get them however you want - the tip missions you have, police scanner missions, street hunting, a task force, etc. Anything where you're fighting enemies level 20+. (Enemies below 20 will sometimes give tips, but that does not appear to be intended.)

I got, and completed, my morality mission. (Thanks for the help Ironblade.) The mission was to eliminate Ghost Widow.. gulp! I asked Ironblade for help thinking I was going to have to solo an EB on my ice/ice blaster. Turns out she's a non-helpful, yakky ally. And the mission was quite easy, esp. with the ever mighty Ironblade alt. So Taxibot Icy is now a vigilante. LOL Thanks for your responses, everyone.
