Future Usage of Praetoria?

OK, this isn't a rant/whine/complaint thread. Just a curiosity one.

I'm loving the look of Praetoria, you can really see the difference in zones actually designed around ultra-mode.

I'm running several characters through the story lines, very enjoyable.

I'll even be making a couple of throw-away characters that I have no intention of playing past 20, just so I can try all of the arcs from all the angles.

However, once that's done, in the future I don't really see myself starting any of my characters in Praetoria, unless I have to for side purposes (Villain ATs in Paragon, Hero ATs in the Isles...yes I could switch sides on them, but you know what I mean).

Overall, while I really like the zones, I think I still prefer actually starting in Paragon/Rogue Isles for any of my characters that can start in thier "correct" zones.

So, what do you all think? Will you be using Praetoria extensively, or just sporadically?

As it stands I'm not even sure I'll finish leveling my existing Praetorians (currently levels 10, 6 and 4...I think). Maybe if they add a way to change your difficulty.

Aside from that I tend to agree with you, although lowering the ridiculous difficulty of Praetoria might actually make me more inclined to level new toons that just for the sake of having newer content to play through (because seriously, Azuria and Burke can go to hell, although there will always be a soft spot in my heart for Doctor Creed).

I was glad to be out of Praetoria because of the difficulty, but it looks so much better than the old zones.

Sure the water looks just as good, but the scenery and mission maps aren't even close to looking as good.

Are the old zones and mission maps getting an overhaul? Will we get a chance to go back to Praetoria for higher level content?

I'm likely to start a good number there for a while, but I have enough Alts on the go at the moment that I won't be starting any new ones for a while anyway. I'd start where ever I felt best suited the character I guess.

I'm likely to start most of my non-EAT characters in the future in Praetoria. I've never been one to actually get around to leveling my characters quickly, and the difficulty level there (which is most definitely higher than the normal zones) isn't really a downside for me.

The big draw for me of Praetoria and future characters is pretty much that I like the story significantly more and it has a lot of interesting tricks going on in the missions that just help make my time there more fun.
