There are only 8 points difference between 1st and last place. With 30 more matches left in the season it is still any ones ballgame.

As a team how would you like to get 4 points for a win and not have to even fight another team?

Ask for a DQ on another team who doesn't have their lineup in by 9:45pm EST and you will get those 4 points easy enough.

Think another team isn't deuchebag enough to do it? Think again. Think that I won't enforce those rules and give them the DQ on you regardless of the circumstances? Think again.

TLDR version -- Lots of teams are late every week. Don't cry when that causes your team to lose points.

Would Easy Kill like to have our match little earlier then the schedule match. I mean we could make that time but kinda hate to postpone my Saturday night with a game. So if 4pm or earlier work best let me know

1. The rules state 945. I made it very clear from day 1 that all rules would be strictly enforced to keep any chances of being accused of favortism.
2. I wouldn't have said anything if lineups were all in by 945 or even 10pm for that matter.
3. I wouldn't have said anything if someone already hasn't attempted to be a deuchebag about a team being late with their lineup.
4. I did indeed play on test and EVERY single match I ever played in with EVERY single team I ever played with never started within 5-10 minutes of scheduled time. Not sure what test you played on, apparently not the same one I did.
5. The terribly abuseable idea here is people knowing the rules, signing up for it then consistently and rudely turning in lineups late most every week.
6. Like anyone is going to admit they were late due to just forgetting or being negligent to caring about other people's time. So the whole "connections or special circumstances" idea doesn't fly.
7. Rules need to be enforced across the board and consistently. What is the point of having any if you don't expect them to be enforced? 9:45 is the hard line and if people just wander in late because matches start at 10 that doesn't change what the rules are for the league or the fact that deuche bags can and will try any angel to win matches rather than just get better at pvp'n and winning them fairly. It would take another team asking for the DQ for me to enforce one. If they don't complain, its not an issue. My post was an attempt to keep teams from having it happen to them. Being matches can be rescheduled I obviously could care less when you guys fight them. However if a team shows up on time and the other team doesn't and they won't agree to an extension in time or reschedule and ask for a DQ I most certainly will and should enforce the rules.
8. This has nothing to do with me needing help taking lineups. A moron can copy and paste them, no big deal.
9. Trying to be a nice guy doesn't get me anything but BS like the Freedom League. The whole lolKatHitler post was a waste of breath being it has been made clear from day one how I would run this league. Honestly I would expect this post from a lot of people, not you Neuronia. Being I don't have a deuche bag bone in my body and hate bad sportsmanship and you know that it should have been pretty obvious someone had already attempted to pull the whole deuchebag card.

Even with no line-up submissions, you know matches started within 5-10 of the announced time. This just seems to be an invitation to deuching another team that might be above you or that you think you can't beat by using time as a weapon. Lame. If the issue is that you need help with line-ups, we will GLADLY help take them and copy paste them in Broadcast. Give people a little leeway on this, but set a hard limit to submit. Yeah, I know 9:45 is the hard limit, but people see the matches starting at 10 and wander in around 9:45. Have any teams actually complained about late line-ups or is this just to make our lives more difficult? How do we know someone petitioned about the time? Do we get to see chat logs on the forums or in PMs? Please reconsider this. It's a terrible, extremely abusable idea and will only lead to teams dropping from the league or the league becoming a game of "City of Worldclock."

I didn't call you that name at all, that's too much.
I'm just worried about teams losing standing points and so on over this.

If you really, honestly feel this is an issue, dock a team 1 point or a half point or something. Losing two points out of 4, or 4 points seems excessive from this point of view. Or make them play with what they have loaded in Pocket D at the time. There are better options than assigning game losses over this.

Another solution would be for you to have people PM their lineups before the match on the boards. You paste them in Broadcast, people have to play as such.

Sorry if I came off as being aggressive, but the way your post was worded seemed to me to be encouraging people to call time etc. to force a forfeit.
The point is we're all friends here on Champion, the important thing is keeping the matches rolling.

How about this:

Line-ups expected by 9:45 PM EST
Line-ups aren't in by 9:55, 1 point penalty or loss of map pick.
Line-ups aren't in by 10:00, forfeit or play what you have.
No line-ups submitted at all, you're out of luck.

Anyway, you're the manager and respect for your rulings.
