I got a Emp/Psi defender for this if you need one.

It took a little longer than expected but we did it. Didn't get a final time either since we started a little late, but it's 7:45 now so I'd say it was around a half hour. Probably would have gone faster if we had more HVAS but I didn't have one either so I can't point fingers.

Good job to all that came! Now that I've run one, we won't necessarily have to piggyback on Masque to run them (although he still has to come when we do).

Super fun run, everyone did a great job.

we'll likely make this a weekly thing, so those repeated attendees can have IoPs all the time!

Hmmm, so it sounds like you need to do some on Saturdays so I can join in!

Do you really need prescribed teams this much? Seems a bit annoying if you need to have that many spots for colds and rads only.

If you want to complete and don't want EVERYONE to have to bring ALL nukes, heavies and shivans, then yes. 2 colds per team might be a bit overkill but we'll surely tweak the roster a bit. The slow run was probably because we didn't have ENOUGH rads, he was strong as hell, even with all 24 of us beating on him at the same time.
I recorded a rough video with fraps, if I get pretty bored tomorrow, I may do a little editing and make a little video out of it. Will probably have to get a song to cover all my breathing and swearing though >.>

Also Saturdays are out for us unfortunately, we're busier on weekends than weekdays.

This a fairly new (and yet old) aspect of the game. Until people have gotten a few runs under their belts it probably was necessary to be so stringent with team selection. I've been following some of the chatter on other servers about this and most of the raids that weren't successful were most likely due to poor team selection and lack of coordination between the teams.

I would imagine as this get run more and people become more familiar with it, team makeup will be less and less of an issue.

The reason we decided on so many debuffer spots is you have such a small window of time to take down the AV. It just seemed to us that the longer a trial/raid lasted the greater the chance for failure was due to people running out of temp powers/insp/temp buffs, people losing focus, and people getting frustrated and quitting.

I have to wonder which of the two is the bigger issue. A lot of the time, anything more complex than point and shoot collapses spectacularly. Still, I guess it makes sense to be so strict due to the setup time. However, I cynically predict that the larger number of MMs the higher the chance of failure.

school during the week, work on the weekends, gaming happens occasionally on weekday evenings, and rarely on weekends.

Sunday evenings is a possibility, but school just started, so it'll take a week or two to figure out a good time to get it in regularly.

Actually, this is mostly what the coordination requires at most players' level. "Stop attacking that, attack this instead!" or "Follow me to the glowie thing that just popped up on your map!" or "everyone buff now!" are pretty much the only directions that are needed. It's simpler in process than a RWZ raid imo, but a lot harder because of all the timing requirements.

Oh it is pretty simple on paper. It's just that after doing Sewer Trials, which CoP feels similar to, the concept of doing the same thing with three times as many people and potentially with a lot of MMs sounds like a recipe for disaster if it's a PUG in any form.

Please tell me you aren't still having trouble with the sewer trial?

And an all MM sewer trial sounds really appealing to me. Need to work on getting one in at least limbo to attempt. Hell, I think that'd be insanely easy as long as the MM players actually know what they are doing.

Would like to do an Eden run too and let the pets run amok. Now if only they'd fix the you-must-be-X-level-to-start it........

I've already forgotten about most of you

If the team is half PUG then yes it is very likely to fail. Due to lag I shudder at the thought of all MM anything but a sewer trial has special considerations due to navigating the railing on the shaft. Also, it depends on if the MMs are mezz heavy so they can deal with the Krackens. A MM team that can deal with these two issues and understands how the trial works should be fine. Then again, any competent and mezz heavy team shouldn't have problems with the sewer trial.

I guess I'll admit that an all MM Eden does sounds somewhat fun but that's because I'd rather do Eden as defeat all as opposed to speed run.
