I thought they only vanished when you switched sides. Like if you get some hero/vigilante tips in Paragon then enter the Rogue Isles they'll all disappear and you start over.
I'd love to hear what caused this. To me the tips missions (with or without GR) are a great addition to the game.
Tips disappear if you enter any co-op zone.
Ergo: if you enter Pocket D or Rikti War zone, kiss your tips bai bai.
I had different experience with that:
1. I got 2 tips in GV
2. Entered RWZ
3. Clicked on blus side portal and got popup regarding missions and such.
4. Canceled popup.
5. Went to red side portal. Clicked on it and got similar popup as at blus side portal.
6. Accepted and entered GV.
7. Both tips were still there.
It wasn't any of that. We were doing missions in sharkhead isle, and when we finished the mission I checked my tips tab to see if I got any more, and they were all gone.

This is an odd occurrence, but I was in a mission team with a few people and racked up 3 tips for my character, but then after awhile after we completed another mission all my tips disappeared entirely.
Has anyone else experienced this; their hard earned tips vanishing into thin air?
Is it just a UI bug or is something very wrong?
edit: or maybe they're timed and I'm just stupid?
