Finish all your Praetorian missions. When I first tried to leave on test it wouldn't let me until I went back and finished my story-arcs.

Alright. Where do I have to actually go (or what do I have to do) to leave, once I finished my missions ?

I believe you havt to be lvl 20 if you are not already ..

Once you reach level 20, your initial contact will have a new Contact for you. This Contact will give you a brief rundown on Primal Earth, and send you to a facility where you make your decision on whether you go to the Rogue Isles or Paragon City.

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)
and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)

Cool. Thanks, guys.

Sorry about that. I assumed you were in the same situation I was when I found I couldn't leave Praetoria the first time. My bad.

To clarify, you don't need to finish your story arcs unless you are a victim of some kind of bug, as Forbin was.

When you move from Praetoria to Primal, all of your Praetorian contacts and outstanding missions/arcs should be removed.

What happened to me was that I still had contacts with missions when I was offered the mission that sends you to Primal. When I entered the mission and was given the option of choosing Rogue Islands or Paragon City, neither door would open.

I exited the mission and finished my story-arcs and when I returned to that mission I was then allowed to leave Praetoria.

Yep. Basically if you enter Pocket D prior to level 20, you can only go back to the "city" you came from. The other portals won't let you pass.

It's no coincidence that after 20 Primal Earthers can do the Alignment missions to switch sides, and Praetorians leave for Primal Earth at the same time.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that was a bug. The final time I came over to Primal (last Sunday) I did it on a character that had three open arcs and two missions in the queue. In fact, I was in the middle of a mission when I dinged 20. I left the mission to level, got the Sheridan contact, said "screw it" and left for Primal.

So, what happens if you go to pocket D, join a team and use the mission teleport?

"Hmm, I guess I'm not as omniscient as I thought" -Gavin Runeblade.
I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

Just details on my exit for those reading this guide. Soon as I hit 20 and went to level up. I was given a new contact to call. Once I called him I was prompted to go underground.

Going through the Resistance underground access in the last area of GR. The tunnels are pretty long with mobs ...the good news easy to blast past to the portal you need to get to.

Once you talk to the npc you get to choose which portal you want...Be it Heroes or Villain doorway out.

Just tossing this out so you have a clue. At first I was lost on where to go...Underground? A B C? Well I chose the access that was related to my faction...so i guess that is what you must choose to use when you go underground. Not sure on this.

There were no map indicators as I got the quest till I reached underground...once down there the active quest locate (red sun icon like thing) showed up on the underground map. From there it was simple walk through on steps.

It sounds like you didn't do many of your faction's missions because about half of the resistance missions are underground.

Also to clarify what Zombie Man said, nothing will happen because Pocket D has teleport suppression.

Wow, how do you get to level 20 in Praetoria without ever going to the Underground? Resistance members especially spend a ton of time there, considering they have the three underground bases.

You can go Underground from any of the regular entrances (with the red and yellow icons named A, B, C, etc). those will take you to specific points in the maze of underground tunnels. The Underground is it's own zone (well, three zones actually), so you won't get a compass marker for the mission entrance until you actually get TO the correct Underground.

You can also go to the Underground through one of the two faction-specific entrances in each zone. The Resistance entrance is handy because it is closest to the Underground base.

Hah...I have no clue.... I never did one mission minus the one to leave. I spend all my time in parties. I am a team player kinda guy. I have only been to the underground once for a ghoul clearing mission with my team. But that is all...I never ventured deep into them.

I've always thought that underground missions needed a pophelp explaining how to get there.
