No Brute comments on Kinetic Melee?
Brutes get nothing for CS because they would not normally GET anything extra. Scrappers give up their normal crits on CS in order to recharge power siphon, as do stalkers. Brutes don't get crits, so there is nothing to give up to get the extra feature.

Then again all new melee sets are balanced around scrappers due to hardcore lobbying.

That's the same as saying "my neighbor has a sports car, but my honda civic gets me where I need to go, what's the big deal?"
Low base damage and assumed +dam from fury makes additional +dam relatively weak. It's pretty simple.
When that extra +dam means your total damge bonus is anywhere from 163% of (does Fury even get you up to +200.00%?) to double or more its normal value (I know I rarely get more than +100-125.00% from Fury anyways, but I mostly solo at x2), it is by no means weak, even with the lower base damage of Brutes compared to Scrappers and the lower bonus per hit. Nor is it at all insignificant compared to what you're getting from Fury, as some in the thread seem to want to suggest.

Animations : good but again will wear out fast .
Damage: Average like all new set releases so consistent with all new sets released or nerfed old sets.
Specialty: Siphon power WTF >.< waste of coding time atleast IO enhancement are done well .
But honestly not to sound negative , you got a range melee set combo .
That doesnt shine in anything particular . is it playable yup .
Is it fun ? Sure some people had fun with 2 dual pistols animation for ages on MM

No special TIER 9 No special or cool mid tier powers .
MiD tier i mean syphon life , Focus , Knockout Blow ,
Fix Siphon Power into 50 second-1 min lasting time doesnt matter if its then 50% damage boost instead of 125%for 3-8 seconds it still wont beat Rage on SS , but gives a KM atleast as standalone something worthwhile
If the set has to be mediocre of everything thats suppose to be cool .
Then give it atleast a mediocre RAGE .

Honestly, I would like to have spike damage, maybe make PS the same as Fulcrum Shift (just have the values adjusted for the BRUTE archtype) or put in build-up. If they ever want this set to make a showing in PvP, then it would definitely need a build-up for the spike damage.
Maybe it is just because for melee types I normally play tanks. But I rolled a KM/E Aura brute because... well its pretty. And I find it solos and teams well. I don't feel like I'm slower killing wise as it is much faster then my normal tanks and pretty tough to boot. I do find myself getting into that 'scrapper lock' mind set of "need to keep killing.... need to keep furry bar up... BLOOD.... MORE BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD... MHA-HAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!"
But I'm having fun and at the end of the day I guess that is really the important part.
Actually, I pretty much ignored PS on my brute. I found Rage worked great for 90% of everything, and PS was pretty much only used on Archvillians where I needed the extra damage. Everything else went down pretty fast with just Rage and maybe a red.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how are you using Power Siphon AND Rage?

Now, on scrappers that dont have fury to boost up KM, I can see using PS a lot more.
So DEV will we see a change in Siphon Power .
Cause currently its a lesser build up , that gives higher damage after 8 second , with a IO set Hasten Temp mutation power can be made near perma .
But even near perma is total ******** .
Sadly cause it only works with kinetic powers .
So too many limitation too much imaginations .
Well i can invest that imagination to make brawl a super killer power if all 3 damage io can procs all the TIME !!!
And its way easier to reach then SP socalled near perma status .
