Verdict on Warmace?
Other sticky wicket for me with that... Thor is a god from Norse mythology, for crying out loud. Marvel shouldn't and doesn't have all rights to that idea, even if this is a superhero game. Having Shields and Martial Arts in game didn't seem to hold them up in the same way... they can continue to generic Captain A wannabes like they would Thors, right?
I have an Odinn themed background for an Elec/Elec brute I'm starting with GR, and I shouldn't hear any complaints there. I've never read the Thor comic, and my interest is entirely in Norse myths and poems.
Guide: Tanking, Wall of Fire Style (Updated for I19!), and the Four Rules of Tanking
Story Arc: Belated Justice, #88003
Synopsis: Explore the fine line between justice and vengeance as you help a hero of Talos Island bring his friend's murderer to justice.
Grey Pilgrim: Fire/Fire Tanker (50), Victory
Just felt like I needed to add this to this thread, so here it goes...
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WARMACE!
The amount of destruction this set puts out is just mindboggling for a tank, especially against anything with little to no S/L resistance. And even then, it's just deadly. The funny thing is, I haven't even gotten Shatter and Crowd Control yet (Im only level 33) but man once I get those two and have them slotted to my needs, I cant imagine anything standing toe to toe with me for too long.
Clobber+Jawbreaker+Bash+Whirling Mace is a sight to behold. Stun em, toss em in the air, finish him off! Man, thankyou to everyone for persuading me to go forth with the set. And for anyone else contemplating the set, TRY IT! It's just simply awesome!

- To Each His Own
Yeah, the set is fun before Shatter and Crowd Control. After... criminy it somehow made itself even better.

The verdict is...take it and love it. It's phenomenal with all the cones and aoe and knockdown and stuns and ZOMG!!!!
If the members on these forums EVER, EVER agreed on something...it's that no one that has tried War Mace has ever disliked it. Unless they've tried it a long time ago before it got buffed.

That's why I meant to use it after [Crowd Control] since then they are all on their backs and cannot move. If I remember correctly Cimerorans are KB resistant, right? So of course in your special case it won't work.

With small melee cones, take a small step back or to the side. You should be able to pick up 1-2 more targets just by doing that: not much work at all.

Reason not good enough, he could set about electrifying all weapons to get around electrifying the hammer.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
