Dumb Question: How do we show our FPS in game?
You need to type /showfps 1. The 1 turns it on put in 0 to turn it off. With out that it will just tell you want mode it is on: which is what you are seeing.

Just to expand on that, the number at the end is what the FPS will be an average over. '1' makes it at 'average' over one second, and higher is longer. I generally go with ~5 seconds, to get a good idea how things are going, trying to ignore any minor temporary blips.

*huh* i didn't know that, i thought it was like other commands where "1" was on and "0" was off. That's really useful to know. Thanks.

i'd give you +rep, but that game is gone now.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
Sometimes just for fun I use 0.1 so it'll update every tenth of a second. It goes too fast to read, but it's interesting. haha

Now that's something I never knew, or thought to try! I wonder what's the smallest value you can give it.... 0.03 would be fun

I'm pretty sure -1 works too. Probably just reads it as 1.
I'm just curious what kind of numbers I am getting, but when I do a /showfps I just get 0.0000. Is there a way to bring it up in a hud and leave it on screen while you play?
