It's highly unlikely that any paid incentive items will ever be given away for free. There are, however, still copies of all the old stuff floating around out there for relatively cheap (in most cases). Just remember that the discs don't matter, the ACCOUNT CODE does.

I don't understand why they don't sell an expansion booster with the collector's editions' ingame items.

Unfortunately most of the CoH Collector's Edition stuff I see ranges from 40 bucks for "used" (which may or may not have a used code) to 100+ dollars for New and never opened.

it might not be in shop but its deffiently online. if u can get it ask a parent or someone and just pay them bk.

I left an alert up on ebay to notify me if the CoH collector's edition went up, I assumed it'd be more than I was will to pay but I figured I'd know every time without having to search every day for it.
A couple month back I snagged one for around 13 dollars including shipping. I got my goodies and paid less for the month than I would have otherwise.
If you have an ebay account it's certainly not going to hurt to put that alert out there in case another pops up.
And sometimes you can find a copy sitting in the bargain bin of some stores (Zellers and Odd Lots spring to mind).
Heck, I recently found a CoV (not collectors) box at my local gamestop for 9 bucks. I bought it and started my alt account with it.

Except it included the in box perks as well, basically a comic book by Scott Kurtz and a Statesman HeroClix. When they ran out of the in box perks, they stopped selling them online. I've heard they still have a few that they sell at HeroCon and other events but I suspect supplies are dwindling to nothing.
I'm simply suggesting the in game perks of the cape, the slide and the badge.
