Well, also David Nakayama, although it seems he'll soon be adopting the moniker "Noble Savage."

But if we were using character names, I'd have to call myself Disturbing Grandma...

Anyway, back to the matter at hand, Grant, I think it's a great idea. A number of my characters don't really feel "right" in the Pocket D atmosphere (probably me projecting my own fear of crowds and...well, dancing).

I say just put some couches in the magic stores. With all the bookshelves, they look like a coffee shop already...

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

Drenched Doughnuts too.
I do like the idea of the Hellion stick up.

I support this wholeheartedly.

A while back, a discussion on the Virtue Forums lead to some of us explaining why we didn't play much (If ever) in Pocket D... and I suggested a mall area, with book shops, eateries, cafe and a restaurant/bar. Most (In fact, all, I think) of my characters are not the dance club/bar type people.
Some may be a small pub/tavern type.

Anyways...

I also love the Hellion stick-up idea, haha. That would be fabulous! WarWitch!!! You must! You know you must!! Pretty pretty please!

While I love the small spot with nice window views of the exterior city... I thought I'd through out a possible sacrifice in order to save a bit of work (possibly) and add a bit of feasibility to the idea (possibly... this may actually make it more work, in which case, I'd prefer what the OP suggested), an interior instance shared by all the location/entrances placed throughout the different Paragon City Zones. Like Pocket D and somewhat similar to the Midnighters Club.
I'd be happy either way!

And nice mock ups

A Quickie Mart / Gas station style store you can go in and see out of might be cool too.

Only if, every time a villain walks in, the clerk at the register sighs and exclaims, "I'm not even supposed to be here today!"

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
