I want to see what everyone has to say about this build I'm working with atm.

the Defense Debuff Resist is at 71%, Accuracy is at +60%

I've never had any focus on Accuracy before or even know if its worth Increasing like I did.

I am no expert but I think your attack chain will be a bit gimped with out haymaker. And the +acc I would go for some other bonus simply because rage gives a fairly large tohit bonus.

After soft-capping defense, I think it's up to you what bonus you want. With rage, I think your character can be stronger by focusing on other bonus than accuracy.

The build looks ok. I would move some slots and see if electrifying fences can be slotted better. I'm wondering about the enzyme HO in combat jumping and battle agility. I thought that enzyme is supposed to enhance debuffs.

Enzymes can do both Defense and Debuff resist. I reworked the build for more slots in Electrifying Fences and dropped Ragnarok for Javelin Volley because I already have that set.

I don't really think slotting health that heavily is needed. The amount of regen you get from it isn't huge enough to make a difference when you really get into trouble. Six slots for the sake of getting a 3% aoe bonus just doesn't seem worth it to me. First thing I would do in that build is lose taunt in favor of haymaker (with AAO and all your AOE powers you won't need taunt anyway), drop some slots from health and stamina and six slot another mako's bite.

Why not flip the sets in ball lightning and electric fences? Ball lightning does a lot more damage and would benefit more from the posi's blast. I also personally like six slotting the immob with enfeebled operation; nearly 4.5 melee defense is a pretty good deal for only five slots, and you get a little recharge time to boot.

I'm also a bit of a heathen in that I don't particularly see the use of softcapping your aoe defense. Not that you should ignore it, but I wouldn't bend over backwards as you have done to softcap it. You don't get hit with aoe that often or that hard, and when you do, it's often actually untyped damage that your defense doesn't help against anyway.

I don't think it's really hard to soft-cap defense. What makes it difficult is that Malor wants other bonus like +recharge. Otherwise, various powers can be slotted differently for defense bonus.

I saw that enzymes works in Mid. The main thing is to make sure that it works in game though. Since the enzyme is designed for defense debuff, it enhances 33% instead of the typical 20%, I'm not sure if it is intended to be slotted in defense powers. I agree with you Silencer7 on most of your opinions. Yes I did overslot Health in an attempt to soft cap, dropping haymaker was a mistake, and I never looked close enough at enfeebled operation and see how awesome it is.

However I don't want to drop my AOE defense any lower that soft cap (I guess I'm being overcautious).

So... reworked it. I am liking the new build. I'm satisfied with 2.5 net gain on End. I am also tickled that I got the HP up to 2300.

Now all I need is to buy 2 sets and 1 Enzyme and I'll have this finished in game!

Edit: I moved some sets around for overall better End performance (Foot Stomp and Shield Charge sets)

Nice build, but personally i would take the resist out of TG and put it into Stamina to enable you to 4 slot Performance Shifter to give you 183% regen and the +End proc also it gives you a tickle more health on top 28.1 as opposed to 16.9, other than that i think it's pretty rounded.

Tbh Viral it's seems like you are just throwing in expensive Pvp procs just for the sake of it in powers that you will not really even be using. Especially when you can pretty much achieve the same numbers by not spending nowhere near the same amount of inf at the same time. I know the numbers are not quite as high on this build as they are on yours, but they are pretty close and you would be richer for it

To Dread, it will be cheaper I reckon, but not if you keep those Kinetic Combats in. You're aiming for positional defence with /Shield and KC's primarily give you typed, and they'll probably cost North of 300 Mill for a set of 4. (w/o the proc). They also don't give great enhancment values.

So I made some changes to give you some better enhancement values out of Punch and Haymaker, and kept you at the same recharge. You also went way over on ranged defence so I took that down a little bit and gave you some more AoE, which is always nice.

Hmmm...Tux, I like it, but you sacrificed quite a bit of endurance to get it done. I'm not sure if you'd be able to keep fighting for very long. Of course, blues can always solve that... Overall, I really like it. A good, cheap alternative.

I'mma talk to my 'people' and see what they think. See if tweaking can be done.

Did you realise that on the last build posted that there is a 7% shortfall in capping Aoe at 45% ? Also it's not really necassary to have both SS and SJ in there either, so i removed SJ and gave you GC which combined with the other re-slotting i done you can manage 63% DDR. You have slightly better regen and all this for .1% more endurance, hope it helps.

I think he does realize, its just that AoE defence arguably isn't as important to cap as ranged and melee. Of course for a build with no budget and an aim for maximum surviavbility you are going to want to cap your defence.

As has it has been said previously in the post, I would probably cap my AoE defence too, and then go for recharge/recovery. I was simply helping the Dread with his build, while keeping the budget relatively low.

EDIT: For reference, I threw this build together in planning for my SS/SD Brute, who is only 34 currently.
