Anyone have some solid insight on Pain ?
Check out Silas' guide on Pain here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=196722
I think you basically want everything except Soothing Aura and possibly the rez, depending on your build.

take two aspirins and call me in the morning?
Well, on my corruptor, I found it useful to take everything. I skipped the first single target heal and went for Share Pain instead. It's a bigger heal, so it works better as a panic button. And the End cost is near nil.
I'd imagine MM play much the same way, but you'd have to experiment a bit to figure that out. A bit of experimentation and maybe some more focused questions on the MM forum should get you going.
I have a elec/pain that I took everything in /pain except for soothing aura and enforced morale. I know EM is a great power but the teams I run with it wasnt that important. Plus the self buff from conduit of pain is better for ME! lol
Yes, actually.
(lol fireminded being wrong again)

Regarding the OP:
Pain Dom has been out the same time for Corruptors as it has been for Masterminds (since I13). It's actually a better set on Masterminds, despite their crappy heal modifier and higher endurance costs, because Soothing Aura (small ticking heal toggle) is replaced with Suppress Pain (toggle +regen), meaning you can power right through Share Pain's -regen effect. In terms of power picks on an MM I'd grab everything except the rez, since the effects it gives you are largely worthless. Share Pain would be my next power on the "skip" list, but even then it's a great power.

I have been looking around and searching I have not found anything solid on pain info. I get small tidbits of info, but to be honest nothing I would say is some solid insight into the set when compared to other sets.
I am looking at from a Mastermind stand point, but I figured it has been out for such a long time for Corruptors that I would find some decent info here related to the powers or even a guide in the sticky above. Sadly there is none.
So Anyone want to relay some insight that has any serious use for Pain that wouldn't mind sharing ? What is good, a must pick, and skip-able about the set ?
Anyone suggest any minimum requirements for the set ? Meaning either slot Soothe with a minimum of this or don't waste your time.
I have asked in the MM forums an even asked some basic one power questions in these forums with minimal responses.
I can work on transposing what I might need for a Mastermind. I'm just looking to get some insight on the set in general.
To be honest I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone has done the work already.
