What kind of travel power?

This may be the wrong location for this, but I wasn't sure do to the primary reason behind this question being RP related. What kind of travel power suits a Gladiator-type that has no supernatural abilities? What would you guys use?

Well, if you were being hardcore natural, none at all, unless you wanted to give him some sort of RP'd device that gave him flight or jumping.

Personally, though, I think you could be lenient and give him super-jumping and say he was just in really, really good long jumping form.

Before Ninja Run, I always RPed Super Jump as the DareDevil/Batman running rooftop to rooftop style, over the Hulk style jumping it shows.

So that may work for you.

Ninjarun works well for it now too.

Ninja Run if you have the MA booster pack. Swift and Hurdle from the Fitness pool and Combat Jumping from the Leaping power pool. Hope this helps.

I just recently came back after a while gone. Honestly, I respec'd every character and dumped all the travel powers except on one character for Ninja Run. I really, really (really, really, really) like having two power slots freed up early, and Ninja Run is pretty fast when coupled with Swift. I have no doubt that I'll grab travel power(s) later, but right now I'm just running Architect arcs anyways, no out-in-the-world stuff until I get sick of doing those.

Just figured I'd chime in and say that I've had the DarkRanger for a good while now with no true travel powers.

Honestly, Swift + Hurdle (three slotted) and Sprint (Two Slotted) is beyond natural ability, heh... But that is what he's traveled with for the past two years. I always RP'd those powers involving grappling hooks and such, sometimes.
It is a viable travel power. Around the same speed as unslotted fly, last time I checked.
With Ninja Run in the mix now too... It is more than viable.
Of course, you can introduce your character to modern technology and go with anything.
Even just grab a jetpack from the Shadow Shard and have fun being a gladiator learning how to fly...

Last I heard.. the Fitness pool power /Swift/ does not couple with Ninja Run, but it does with Sprint. A way around this though.. turn on Ninja Run and Sprint at the same time.. trust me it actually makes Ninja Run a bit faster, especially if you have Swift slotted by 2 or 3.
