Orchestral fan music inspired by CoH

I wanted to share this orchestral piece of fan music that is inspired by this great game with all of you
I can't draw or anything like that so that's the only thing I am able to show a tribute to this game.

Youtube: "Welcome to Paragon City!"

It includes a reference of the Atlas Park theme but that's the only thematic thing that has been captured. It was aimed for catching the overal mood and feel of the game (especially when you enter the game for the very first time).

edit: added another game inspired track:
Youtube: "The Hollows"

And here is a theme music for a hero on the German server:
Youtube: "Fliege - Hero of Paragon City"

Another hero based piece:
Youtube: 'Dark Eye'

I am curious about your opinion.
Thanks for listening

Oh very cool... *goes off to download and give it a listen*

Brassy and heroic yep and I do hear the notes of Atlas during the intro. This is good stuff Hellstorm, got any more?

I enjoyed this very much - I particularly liked the recurring use of the AP theme to tie it all together!

I hate to ask, but is this finished? It seemed just to stop after the horn expression of the theme just before 2:30. IMO, a piece as epic as this deserves a big finish!

Actually it's not completely finished yet. I planed to write a big final for this one but I can't tell when I will find the free time to finish this one yet.
But not after I got so many nice comments about it I feel excited to continue working on the end as soon as possible
Thanks again.

You forgot the word "awesome" in that sentence.

Last night as I was rampaging around Paragon City I was playing my "Sturm und Drang' playlist which contains music from movies and games and your stuff would fit right in there, especially "Fliege." Man that's a good song. I've listened to it twice already.

...and Space Ace! Also awesome!

Must... have... mp3s...

Thanks. Well Cubase isn't really cheap for sure. But the important thing is that you can easily work with you sequencer software and that it supports VST.

I am currently working on a new track and I hope I can post it here soon too. I got a lot of nice messages because of my compositions and I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words

As a film score fan and a fan of production house/trailer music (Two Steps from Hell, X-Ray Dog, Immediate Music, etc.), I have to say your work is fantastic. I think my favorite is Fliege's theme, but with all of them your skill is obvious.

"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of liberty."

"Nothing is unchangeable but the inherent and unalienable rights of man."

I work with Cubase (4) combined with some sample libraries like 'Symphonic Orchestra' and 'Stormdrum I + II' by East West. The midi controller I use for playing and recording all the sections is a M-Audio 'Keystation 88es'.

Nice, I don't have anything at the moment, but would you be willing to let me use any of these for my CoH videos I've been making? http://tinyurl.com/OnYourMArc for my current vids.
