Something I've Noticed Running Ultra Mode
As to the first picture, that's actually a visible "edge" to the light texture that's attached to a hanging light above.
Just imagine a hollow "cone" or a funnel that's invisible and inverted so the small end is pointed toward the light. Then slap a subtle image on it to simulate a light glow.
You're right in that the line is not supposed to be visible, but that problem has been there since I can remember. It's not a graphics card problem as far as I know, but a geometry/texture problem that the devs would need to fix themselves.
As to your second picture, I really have no clue.

My guess is a problem with the way Ultra-Mode is working on your card.
Given than the starting point for Ultra-Mode on the AMD side is the RadeonHD 4850, and that your card is significantly weaker than the 4850 (6,000 Mpixels versus 10,000 Mpixels; 15,500 MTexels versus 25,000 MTexels), your system is probably having to run some shortcuts in order to actually process the code fast enough to be playable.
I'm also suspecting that you probably haven't updated your drivers either. I haven't seen this type of problem on my 4650, 4850, 2600, or 5770 cards.
That's interesting. In 3 years playing this game I've never seen either one until recently when Ultra mode came out.

The floating lines have been there forever, since launch I'd reckon (at least as long as I've been playing, since shortly before I5), they definitely aren't new.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
I'm in the "the floating light textures were there forever" crowd. I don't know what the second picture is either.
In regard to your second picture, do you see it consistently? Is there a specific place you can go to where you will always see it? If so, where?

Up until around March, I was using a lower end computer and was running the game on "recommended" (or lower) and never saw those lines. After I got my new PC, I was able to run at max, and still never saw them. It was only after running in Ultra that I noticed them, but as Aggelakis said I'm probably only just now noticing them because I'm paying more attention to the new look.
Whenever I get on today I'll try running some missions on low-light or dark maps, and see if I can recreate it.

I think there are actually a couple spots like that in that map. If you position yourself just right and rotate the camera angle then all the walls vanish and you can see mobs that are behind walls. I thought it was fixed but maybe UM has brought it back.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
Forgive me if it's already been mentioned, but then again I guess you can't report a bug/glitch/issue too much.

Since I've been able to play in Ultra Mode, I've noticed these little lines that go across entire rooms. They seem to only be noticeable at certain angles. Also, I've only seen them while on indoor maps.
(That one's a little hard to see)
Just wanted to see if anyone else has seen these, and to draw awareness to them if the devs haven't noticed them yet.
Graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5670. Any further information, ask and you shall recieve.
