Thoughts on Force Mastery?
I'm getting nearer to 41 with my main character, Starflier, and I'm curious what veteran blasters think of the powers in Force Mastery. I'm thinking I'll take PFF and Temp Inv, possibly FoN.
Any reasons I should reconsider the other powers, or are those fairly solid choices? |

Repulsion bomb is a great way to start a fight. Add in two more AoE attacks, and you've just killed every minion in a group with no chance for them to fight back.
The Bacon Compels You.
Basically what everyone already said. My energy/energy blaster has had Force Mastery ever since she was high enough level to get the powers many many years ago. Never once have I considered changing her ancillary, the set is just too good. I love popping FoN and rushing in to blap with big Zeus robots or anything else twice my size or bigger. ^_^
I demoed Personal Force Field once when someone asked me about it. I stood in the middle of a bunch of +2 Nemesis Jaegers, dancing. Then I realized I was on a Defender, and the Blaster numbers were lower. So I invited my wife to come online, join the team, put up her Blaster-level PFF, and dance with me.
A convert was made.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
PFF so needs to be nerfed, and that's why you should take it.
Personal Force Field meshes particularly well with Aid Self (or even Portable Rapid Regeneration Devices ).
I loved it on my Sonic/MM blaster for that very reason - bubble up and heal a couple of times when things got rough. Temp Invulnerbaility was a slightly substandard shield (no third type of damage, just S/L) and I tend to be stingy with powers liek Forc eof Nature and save them up for rainy days that never come.
But PFF made the choice of epic pool very well worth it.
Thanks for the advice everyone.
Force of Nature means never having to say you're sorry... for grabbing all the aggro with your Aimed, Built-up, Power-Boosted AoE.
I don't really use much AoE on my current build, but I have been considering an AoE, knockback-tastic secondary build.

Temp Invulerablity and Force of Nature speak for themselves in terms of usefulness.
