The Markets Merged?

I got a Gmotd that said the markets are merged and villains and heroes can trade now. (except in PvP zones). Was the GMotD released too early? I thought it would go though after the patch but still nothing...Am I reading it wrong?
Thanks for the help.

I believe that MOTD was to alert you about the coming Going Rogue change which will merge the markets not indicating that the markets have merged today. Many folks have a lot invested in the market and it will take time to move everything to safer locations.

I believe it will go live when GR goes live. I think the GMOTD was only announcing the plans to do so, not that it will be in effect right away.

Yes, if you read the entire MotD you'll learn that this isn't happening until GR goes live in August.

Regardless if the first two listed are worded to imply they in effect now, they don't work, and based on the last line of the /gmotd, they shouldn't be assumed to be in the game already. That gmotd was added the day before this patch anyway. If it were in the patch, it would likely have come afterward.

To me, the first two on the /gmotd list looks like internal patch notes they will copy/paste once it goes live... which is why they are worded that way.

Not to mention... if somebody was THAT curious about the announcement, they could follow the instructions on the announcement itself and visit the Developers Corner on the forum and find that the full version of the same announcement starts with:

I'll admit.. the /gmotd was taken out of context and can easily be misinterpreted if somebody just reads the list in the middle, which is why Dumple and I felt the need to put emphasis on the last line.
