Character Creation and the Baron Coat
Of course, it'd need to be renamed the Baroness coat. And the Witch Wing items would need to be ported over for Male and Huge - Warlock Lace?
Several of the newer jackets can do the job of the Baron Coat, for female models. Admittedly they don't have the occult option but they still look smart.
As it stands I think that the Baron Coat (and other options, including the snazzy, pointy shoes) work well for male and huge figures because they were seemingly designed to work for them. The female model is renowned for its ability to muck up the look of a chest piece due to, well, its chest pieces! Hence females got Witch, which accentuates their bosoms and has a lacy/Ann Summers feel. Because we all know that all witches are really sexy sirens, with perfectly coiffed hair...
I too would like to see a few more sensible female options though, instead of some of the more fanboi-ish 'Look at my chest!'/'Look at my behind!' costumes.
/signed on an updated/more options for retro jackets and uniforms. The female half-jacket (sleeveless) would also be awesome for the male/huge model. It has a certain Aladdin feel about it.

Think about it: The VAST majority of the enemies in the game are male. A guy could get transfixed on watching your tatas bounce while you're running toward him and be distracted, giving you a couple seconds to knock him out before he can defend himself
Why do you think Sister Psyche's costume is basically made of saranwrap? She KNOWS what her male opponents are looking at and uses it to her advantage.

Actually, those revealing costumes would be a tactical advantage.

Same goes for the skull mask, and a few other 'gender locked' pieces that shouldnt be, such as the japanese style bracers and arm guards.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

A lot of the other gender locked pieces makes me sad too. I mean really, in a world of super powered beings, or some just super talented, it's not too far fetched that a woman may want to disguise herself as a man for a number of reasons.
And I mean sure, with new cosmetic surgeons we could just make a male version of the avatar, but then we lose some of the just feminine enough looks or curves and it doesn't quite look right. And then everyone thinks weird things when you costume switch. XD
The 'bosom' vest as I like to call it does have an Aladdin feel to it. Would be great to be able to use that on male characters for a genie or djinn type character.
And yes, some of the other chest pieces can give that type of baron coat look for woman, it's just not quite right. Trust me, I've spent hours in the creator trying to get that desired look, but something just nags at me. Hehe.
The Gender disparity in costume pieces is based on two factors.
The First Issue: The time inherent in creating each version of the piece. Especially in cases where geometry is used multiple versions must be created which respond to each individual slider on a give body type without creating too much clipping.
The Second Issue: The general disparity in Comics involving the amount of clothing the average female superhero wears compared to her male counterparts. This disparity caused a need for "Tops and Bottoms With Skin" for females, to allow for far more revealing costumes. This of course rises from the fact that comics were and still are a power fantasy aimed mainly at men from the ages of 10-35.
The Third Issue: The mental block toward imbalance that arises, unheeded, when looking at three selections which contain an uneven amount of options. One feels the inherent need to "Balance" these options to some degree or another. So females, who get the extra "With Skin" costume options over the two male models, are left holding the bag on many masculine costume pieces.
My solution? Create a tops and bottoms with skin option for males. port over the female skins with the addendum of removing cleavage shading and likely adding musculature. Then proliferate all the costume options to both males and females.
Of course the Devs are aware that far fewer men would use the "Hearts Plus" top and bottom with skin option than females will (Second Issue). So they don't bother pouring hours and hours and hours of laborious redesign (First issue) to balance the scale (Third Issue)
So while it probably won't happen, I agree that all body types should have all costume options. Then again, I loved the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I might be a -touch- unbalanced and/or biased.

This brings back memories! I used to act in a Rocky Horror cast in my teens. I played Dr. Scott and even filled in to play Frank one night!

Dec out.
This is more a request than a suggestion or idea, but I figured it suited this forum the most.
Now you will probably think I'm insane, or perhaps think that my request is trivial, as really it's just a small thing, but something that's been eating at me.
I was wondering... hoping even that the developers may consider allowing female characters the option of using the Baron coat. Really, that's all I have to say, and in the midst of all the other suggestions and ideas it seems like nothing, but I'm sure others other than myself would love it.
It's an amazing looking piece, but I feel it's a shame it can only be selected for male characters.
On a similar note, I'd also love to see an almost band-jacket type jacket for both sexes. The type with buttons on either side, closed or open. There's the scientist coat which almost does this, but not quite as stylized.
Anyways, just thought I'd make a quick post describing my wants. I love the character customization of this game but of course, I'm selfish and want more.
