A small buff to Brawl...

When you have nothing else to use, when you are totally out of End, when that Sapper decided to rub all over you, what can you do? You can still Brawl him.

Well.

As long as it's up.

Thus this suggestion: Please make Brawl immune to recharge modification.

Since I tend to use Brawl on all of my characters as often as possible, slotting for recharge tends to be one of my thoughts, especially on Brutes.

If this suggestion suggests to make brawl immune to being slowed OR sped-up, I might feel a little half and half on the issue. I'd much rather keep the ability to slot a faster brawl than gain an immunity for it to be slower.

A lot of people put off Brawl because it doesn't do much damage, but I use it because it's damage per endurance borders on infinity. And reducing it's recharge just makes that more apparent.

I never really pay attention to Brawl much, can you still use Brawl if you have no endurance?

Even if you can wouldn't it make more sense to carry a lot of blues to counteract a Sappers drain and hit him with higher damage attacks rather than swatting him ineffectually with something like Brawl?

I think he means make brawl Perma or make any -rech moves have 0 effect on brawl

Since Brawl costs zero endurance to trigger, I would believe that yes, you can use this power even if your endurance is dead zero.

Brawl doesn't do much damage, but like any other power, proper slotting with enhancements, IOs and procs, you can do a lot more than what most people use it for. I remember one person suggested slotting Kinetic Combat's proc chance for knockback, but it could be for any proc if you frankenslot.

I can see how adding a chance for KB might make Brawl slightly more useful in the situation described in the original post but again it seems better to just munch some blues and get back to business.

A well procc'd brawl could be useful for some build in some situations.
Particularly if it's a build for malefactoring down and the power choices are tight.

Unless you've run out of Blues, inspirations drop frequently admittedly, but there's always going to be that one time you run out mid-battle and sappers are zapping on your tails.

Brawl's perfect for cherry-tapping enemies with a sliver of health, you'd want to keep the endurance and recharge on a stronger power for a critter with more health.

Ummmm...yup, I'm an idiot. Ignore this.

I guess that is my point; the suggestion being made is useful at a very specific time. When you are completely drained of endurance (with or with -recovery) and your opponent has a sliver of health. Otherwise you just wind up wasting time and effort trying to brawl a mob into insensibility.

As a matter of fact why not add a secondary effect to Brawl that gives it a better than average chance to stun your opponent. That would be more helpful overall IMO.

OMG! They added an influence-draining mob?!?!?!?! Man, I knew we needed influence sinks, but come on!

Yeah they're going to be needed when they add the new +influence inspirations....

Brawl is that punch Superman throws when the kryptonite has him sweating and panting. Sure the guy may grunt with the blow but unless Supes managed to knock the rock away or hit something clever he's about the be pistol whipped unconscious.

Brawl is fine and if your super has a stunning punch you can slot it for that.

I see no reason for it to be buffed at all since it had its endurance removed.

I would almost say the end removal was over kill.
