Mystic Fortune Loop.
Yes, it's a known issue. I'm sure it will get fixed. The thing is, people complained about the prompt and how much they hated it. So, Castle made it an 'auto-accept'. Then, people complained that they didn't like being 'hit' with it out of the blue and wanted a choice, so Castle turned the prompt back on.NOW there are more complaints...seems the only way for most to be happy is to be able to tick 1 of three choices...Auto-accept, Auto-deny or Ask.

They could always take the prompt away again ... :P
The double animation is Extremely annoying. And if you already have a fortune buff, when someone casts it on you, you don't get a pop up but you do the animation. Fix please.

To the Devs - I petitioned about the prompt as a suggestion/feedback. I merely received a rather curt reply saying it was in the patch notes (which were not published until some time after the patch) and that I should post something in the forums. So here goes:
This is my "share your thoughts" in the "official forums" - I think the best solution would be to allow enabling and disabling of this prompt - just like is done for team teleport. I hate the prompt. It is hard to understand why someone would not like some of the best buffs in the game being cast upon them. But this way BOTH groups (those that want the 'control' and those of us that hate the stupid prompt) could be happy. All I am asking for is a choice.
Thank you!
It was known that it was coming back because it was in the patch notes on the test server for awhile now. The double animation is bad, but to say that there was no notice that the prompt was coming back is false

I don't understand why people would want the prompt tbh. I mean, it's a good buff. Even if they complained about The Fool, it doesn't give that much of a -tohit and also gives +recharge and something else. I must say I agree with the option to turn on/off the prompt.
The most common complaint is that it's a 20 minute long buff that makes sound every few seconds. People seem to like to give them out in places like WW where the buff isn't doing anyone any good and the sound is bothering them. If people didn't find it funny to do that, then I don't think you would hear other people asking for the prompt back. The only way we will be able to have both sides of this argument happy is if they put the auto/prompt choice in the options like they have for TP. heck, this is why they put the prompt for TP in the first place. A few thought is was really funny to TP people while they were at a trainer or buying enhancements.

I never once saw anyone ever refuse the fortune buff when it had the prompt. It was so nice when it was auto.
I find the sounds cool and they are faint. All the people running quills and every other damage aura in existence in WW usually drown out the little fortune sounds anyway. Have a hard time believing anyone could seriously use that as a reason to dislike the fortunes.

This whole discussion would be moot if they'd just add it to options - and allow you to set it to auto-accept or auto-deny or prompt.
Everyone I know was pleased when it was changed to auto-accept. I never once heard anyone complain about it. IMHO, the fewer "OK" buttons I have to click in this game the better.
An option in the settings for this would be grand.
Since the patch today, when you cast Mystic Fortune (or are given it) the person who is receiving it performs the animation on him/herself. The buff shows up twice but then one disappears within seconds.
