You Show Me Yours And..
Awesome thread and pics. Alas, I have no pics of my lone ill/ff.
Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.

I don't really have any pics of my character bios online, but I do have some pics of a few of my controllers. I'm not sure how to imbed images, can someone tell me? Using HTML didn't work.
Thanks to Oedipus Tex, I can now put an image here. This will be my Ice/Storm controller, Arctic Moon. No bio image, sadly.

I had to figure this out too. You use IMG tags. For example:

But without the . after the / in the second IMG tag.
Thanks. I just found it deep in some post thread, but I appreciate the fast response!
This is Grim Wanderer, an Earth/Empathy controller who had this costume LONG before Red Dead Redemption became popular.

Looks like my images are freakin' huge. So, I will try to show some restraint. Sadly, most of my main controller heroes aren't up on my web page so I'll have to maybe make more convenient pics of them later. The one other one I have is way too huge of an image to post.
Btw, replying to the post BELOW me, the only problem I have ever had with swinging the camera around and zooming closer to get a shot is the fact that usually the camera is pointing at a specific point on the character model which is NOT the ideal point (from a vertical placement perspective). So often I have to find someplace to stand where I can also force the camera to move up or down.

BTW to any of you hoping to get shots of your characters in game, this is something else I recently learned. If you hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard, the game takes a JPG screenshot and automatically saves it to a folder called "screenshots" in your City of Heroes game folder (for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\screenshots--this changes depending on the version of Windows you're using or if you installed to a different folder.) The screenshot provides a full view of the scene and does not include any UI elements.
I (badly) Photoshop-ed my character bios on top of the pics I took. That isn't necessary to participate in this thread of course.
Also for those of you with no middle mouse button (or people like me who are crazy and play with a touch-pad) you can swing the camera around to face your character by going to the Options menu, opening the Keymapping, and finding the one that says "Rotate Camera." Change this to a keyboard key (I used the number '8' on the numpad). Now to rotate the camera, hold down that key and move the camera as normal--the camera will move without rotating your hero, allowing you to swing the camera around to see him or her. To reset the camera when in this mode, simply zoom in close to the hero and then zoom out.
Hope that helps spur some of you to take some quick shots.
This is my obligatory 'joke catgirl' character, sparked purely by a joking suggestion of the name by someone here on the forums a long time ago. Unfortunately, 'Schrodinger's Catgirl' is one character too long, so the apostrophe had to get the axe. I think it works out well regardless.
Illusion/sonic, with recall, teleport, and the day job rez other. Got it all - quantum duplication, quantum teleportation, strange noise-based powers, putting teammates into superpositions of being alive and dead, confusing the heck out of people and leaving them trembling in fear with the mind-bendingly crazy math involved...

A bit off topic Tex, but how are you enjoying 'Cold Reader'? I remember you talking about your mind/cold and the direction you were taking it in - how'd it turn out for you?

One of our robot saviors from the future, the one known as RebelGeek uses the astounding power of Technologic, earth shattering futuristic beats, and the white hot flames of rebellion to bring peace to the city of paragons and the musical world. His awe inspiring hooks empower even the most tasteless of the musically oppressed to feel like titans on the battlefield and make the mightiest of the musical oppressors as weak as the garbage that floods our top 40 charts.
Fire/Kin/Earth. Unfortunately the pet nerfs, both numbers and recharge loss, and a crippling case of altitis that needs a steady cash flow to enable has reduced my namesake to a mostly farming role. Still, he's a blast to play and the most fun toon I've ever had.
My best toon to date, an ice/bubbler. Rolled him a little after the first anniversary. 637 badges to date and counting. Currently residing on Freedom. Ive put his bio below the pic cuz i forgot how to make windows show when i take pics..lol
Whats up!? Prolly not too much if you're readin this.
Well, since you're here lets talk a lil bout my favorite topic: ME

I just posted another one on the Virtue boards. This guy was my first 50. I rarely play him these days, although I did spend a lot of time on him the first go round. Power sets are Ice/Therm/Fire.
So I have recently discovered how to rotate the camera without a mouse. This has resulted in me terrorizing the Virtue message board with pics of my characters.
It's been a long time since we've done this, so I'm wondering what everyone looks like these days. Share pics of your Controllers for all of us to see.
I'll go first.
My main character these days is a Mind/Cold Controller named "The Cold Reader."
And here is my Ice/Rad.
Not pictured: Earth/Storm, Ice/Thermal, and a few assorted others. Just haven't had time to take pics of them.
So, your turn. Show me what you've got.
