Is there a reason why Scorpion Shield and Poisonous Ray are now locked from the Controller Mace Mastery Pool? I have Scorpion Shield, Poisonous Ray, and Summon Tarantula and only the summon is not locked in my bar.
-
I'm having the same problem. No PFF and only my summon tarantula power is working atm.

Since you seem to be getting close to APP level and are already thinking of revisiting your build, I'm going to suggest you take a look at the Leviathan mastery now that its available to us. My Plant/Storm just respecced into it and I'm enjoying it so far. Tornado + Water spout is fun carnage and while the coralax pet isn't all that survivable it still puts out decent damage to pair with fly trap.
At current I'm at 40% ranged defense, so that survivability and hovering at the back lines while two pets, lightning storm, tornado and waterspout are wrecking the mob I just locked down with seeds, roots and creepers makes me feel VERY powerful, and water spout fits right in visually and thematically with /Storm. -
I took soul on my widow and picked up Gloom and Darkest Night. Gloom is a nice ranged attack with good DPS and Darkest Night was a choice because of how I built her. I built her as a hybrid DPS/Team Buff toon perfect for AVs.
Darkest Night accepts a cheap 5% rech set and that helps keep Mind Link perma. Perma Mind Link, double maneuvers, double assault, darkest night and a high dps claws build makes me popular on AV teams. -
I can let you do that, Dave.
(Thank you, that was very appreciated.) -
Hiya, I'm a long time player just recently getting back into masterminds with GR. My only previous experience was with Bots/Poison; a PvP toon. It was quite the steep learning curve in PvE for me and sort of turned me off of the archetype. With GR I decided to finally try a Mastermind again and after many rerollings I have found a new Geek to add to the team; Brimstone Geek my Demons/Thermal.
I'm loving the combination so far, but have no idea what to aim for, slotting wise, later on. After reading around on the boards for a bit, I've come up with an inexpensive build that I think I'm happy with, but could definitely use some input from more experienced users of the powers.
Build below; thanks in advance.
EDIT: Well looks like the export code went and messed all over itself; so I'm leaving only the data chunk

One of our robot saviors from the future, the one known as RebelGeek uses the astounding power of Technologic, earth shattering futuristic beats, and the white hot flames of rebellion to bring peace to the city of paragons and the musical world. His awe inspiring hooks empower even the most tasteless of the musically oppressed to feel like titans on the battlefield and make the mightiest of the musical oppressors as weak as the garbage that floods our top 40 charts.
Fire/Kin/Earth. Unfortunately the pet nerfs, both numbers and recharge loss, and a crippling case of altitis that needs a steady cash flow to enable has reduced my namesake to a mostly farming role. Still, he's a blast to play and the most fun toon I've ever had. -
Thanks again Back, got an error on the memory test. The test didn't give me the report when I logged back on but I saw the fault detected message during the test.
-
Per my initial post; I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now with the persisting problem. As for the title of the thread, the issues I'm having/have had as very similar to the issues described in the win7 sticky and other win7 posts, in fact that sticky helped resolve my first problem.
-
Im thinking the same Back Blast. I had a driver issue and fixed it, at least I'm pretty sure I did, but this random crashing still persists. The problem now is that I have no idea how to approach the piggs issue.
-
Before I get to my problem, let me give a big thanks to the people in the stickied threads and the other techies helping out in posts, I've been lurking around them to try and fix my problem and although it hasn't worked I appreciate their help. So, onto the problem.
The Problem: Random crashing during gameplay, usually when zoning in and out of mission maps and other zones. Upon restarting the game, the updater begins "fixing" various pigg files. During some fixes the error pops up saying either not enough memory or wrong permissions with a continue/cancel option. Continue will, obviously, continue to checksum and allow me to open the game. The crashes will then randomly happen again, sometimes within moments of starting back up. Yesterday however I logged an 8 hour taskforce with two more hours of normally play, testing one of the fixes, before a crash finally came. Since then back to the 10min-1hour schedule.
What I have attempted: At first the game ran in super bright colors on my GeForce 250 so I updated the drivers with windows update, I believe the driver version was 190 something. This fixed the problem yet began to cause bluescreens. An update to 197.45 drivers from nVidia itself fixed the bluescreens but kept the crashing. After lurking around here for an answer I rolled back to the 185 drivers, encountered the same problems. I then scrubbed the drivers and tried again with the 190,197, and 185beta drivers. Again, same problems. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled CoX twice, tried running it in every xp and vista service pack mode available (this caused the game to slow down to sub snail level), and of course ran it in the obvious administrator mode. Im not entirely sure this is a driver issue, once the bluescreens and color problems were resolved anyway, since I get no error messages or anything of the like. The game simply stops mid zoning screen and the send error report pops up (I've listed and sent them every time, current count at 17 in the past 2 days), then the fixing piggs upon reloading.
I seem to be at my wit's end with this, so Im coming to the forum gurus for help. Below is my CoHHelper data.

As you can tell by my post count and reg date I am a consummate lurker of these forums but I must say, you sir have hit the nail on the head.
Now that this post, as unhelpful to the overall discussion as it is, is done: I return to the shadows of Lurkdom. -

STF versus LRSF is outrageous!
Sorry, that's just all. I've defended deb decisions in the past, but this is insane. Why are heroes rewarded much better for a vastly simplified easy mode version of the villain counterpart? I am beside myself honestly. This is the kind of thing that makes me wonder why I bother.

I'm tempted to reply with a witty comment like "Crime doesn't pay and the devs are keeping it that way." but I'm too busy shaking my head over the fact that redside is getting less and less appealing by the update. -

You still have Citadel listed as Bastion?

I had a nice little nostalgia chuckle at that. -

is this New Math? 9-7=2 old school
EDIT: It's not just this example, there are a bunch of off-by-one errors in the "difference" column. LRSF didn't change but has a delta of 1, for example.

He explained why near the beginning of his post. You'll find the reason for it there.
