I'm confused!
I didn't get anything, and I actually bought Aion and played it for the first month (horrible disastrous /facepalming near-miss of a game. To paraphrase either Ford Prefect or Zaphod, 'looked like a fish, moved like a fish. Played like a cow.')
I was gutted, cos it's GORGEOUS.

Not gotten any such e-mail and played it at launch (free month).
Game itself is gorgeous though, but I was not impressed on launch itself. (400k pre orders cramped on too few servers at launch when EVERYone (and their hamster) want to log in)
Think I'll play it again a little later (loved the Cold world of Daeva's due to the by far better organized city of pandemonium) And it was fun playing a fantasy game
But back to the e-mail.. nope, not one french letter.

A couple of members of my SG got it, and were equally confused.
It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba
I also got the "french letter" and I have also never played Aion

Has anyone else received an email in French about Aion recently? Unfortunately my French is utterly abysmal, so really not quite sure what it's on about.. Do the marketing department now think everyone in the EU speaks French?
