Okay, big chunk of info here... was waiting on Pious to deliver it but maybe he was waiting for me to deliver it?

Most of the Titan's armaments were standard stuff, the modifications showed a technically brilliant display of science and engineering, but lacked that flair or spark that allows a true mad Scientist to make a toast powered death ray.

Among the wreckage an undetonated Incendiary Missile was found, which when dissembled had a unique gadget for maximizing acceleratent and air mixing.

The patent to this gadget belongs to a company operating out of the Rogue Islands by the name of Ironclad Enigma Soloutions this company is owned by a wealthy widower called Lady Irene Margaret Sepulcher.

Lady Irene Margaret Sepulcher (35) is a two time widow and self made entrepreneur (sp?), while she is rarely seen at work or social gatherings, she has been known to attend various charitable causes. Usually of the black tie and evening dress kind (the swanky ones)

An asset list for her shows that she owns the following companies.

Ironclad Enigma Soloutions (weapons R&D), Cycle Cycling Brothers (makes bikes),Lightning Group (Design, mainly graphic), Ocean Farm (Frozen fish and seafood), Apex Landscaping (Landscaping), Cl Key Group (Security technology, both physical and software), Apex Service (Construction, mainly housing).

Cycle Cycling Brothers and Ocean Farm, being the only companies with addresses listed in Paragon City.

Yeah sorry I've taken so long before posting. Been real busy basically. It's probably best that it be you to offer out these clues OOC anyway, being the subplot's GM. I was only going to carry it out ICly. Question; is the Kronos Titan -confirmed- stolen, by Police or Government agents? I would imagine Malta dodging any contact with Law Enforcement and thus not cooperating with their investigation and instead carrying out their own. So are they too looking for the thief?

A Malta cell went Rogue and sold off their equipment in a very hurried black market auction, before doing their best to dissapeer with the money.

Malta are aware of this, but do not know who bought the Khronos at the auction, however when they catch up with the members of the cell, they plan to ask them some questions, some pointed questions.

Given as far as most normal people go, Malta is little more than rumour. That and...y'know, a villain group?
Of course they'd dodge law enforcement and have naff all to do with investigations, bar there own.

If someone were to arrive at the graveyard in the Snufflesneak thread "now", would there still be people there, or would they all have left already?

There would still be people there, four black vans in total.

Sorry, more questions:

How many thugs total got into the van Jack is riding on? Was it two in the front and one in the back?

Does the van have a partition between the front and back sections?

Finally, are either of the windows open?

Thanks.

The vans are outfitted/modified goods vans, and thus have a dividing wall between the drivers cab and the goods area.

The one being ridden on has two people up front, and one in the back keeping watch over the unconscious vampire.

The passenger door window is down.

All that being the case, Jack will remain where he is until the van reaches its destination.

Sorry about the slow updates, I've been having some major computer difficulties.

your vans and gaurds can choose to follow Yarg's orders CB or disrgaurd them, just figured Yarg would so push his luck there. The address is in Kings Row btw, incase they do follow orders

For continuity purposes, will these vampires leave a body or turn to dust/ash/something else when staked?

I'm open for suggestion.

The mythology I go off for Vampires, has a staked vampire rapidly becoming its natural state of decay, so a staked 9 day old body would return to the state it should be of 9 days decay minus preservatives and the coolers prior to the funeral, a ten thousand year old vampire would be come dust however.

So I'd go for these leaving a body, unless you'd prefer them not to Wolfram.

I'd personally say given the ammount of variety that we have, these ones, being of CBs creation, would be specific to what he says. Which, as it turns out he has already done so, and makes perfect sense

I do know that the DeFeurards don't work like that, however

That's fine by me. I'm kind of going on the assumption that the unconscious vampire can't resist here, let me know if something should stop Jack and I'll do a quick retcon.

That's just how I figured it, and the reason I asked. Vampires come in many different flavours and there's no hope of getting them standardised; may as well just acknowledge the different traits in-story.

Well that.. was quick and kind of dismissive of anyone not of the Nighthunters or Court who may have been involved. But still it can be rolled with IC soit's all good I guess.

Yeah I mean nothing is stopping anyone from going after bounties, it'd be fun to see what happens IC when you stroll up with a bag full of heads, and no one will pay for them :P

Not to mention what it can do to Liz's rep - someone does something bad in her name without her permission and she drops all her guns and sulks (or at least that's the way some could see it)

Pious has been attempting to negotiate a peace, or at least a cessation of hostlities for weeks and weeks. That his efforts continue is hardly therefore a major twist in the plot.

Pious had doubts that the Countess was responsible for the St. John's massacre, and made his way to Castle Bathory to try once again to extend a hand in peace. He got a rough reception, but nontheless was received and heard.

That he and his companion lived to walk away from the Castle was largely as a token of good faith to show that the Countess was not responsible for St. John's, but also because the ongoing war was not to the benefit of either side. All that "Open Season" was really acheiving was to weaken both sides, divert their attentions from their true goals, and allowing little upstarts to profit at the expense of both sides.

In the end, a cease-fire, not a peace, was agreed. The cease-fire officially began at 9am the following morning (leaving many hours for word to be spread that all bounties were cancelled). Whever PCs may have heard of the bounties, they will certainly hear fast that they are now off. Word travels fast, and especially when it is momentous and threatening.

Before that 9am official cease-fire deadline, word will have been thoroughly circulated that 'Open Season' is suspended and that no forther bounties will be paid. Furthermore, anyone attempting to continue or rekindle hostilities will be treated as an enemy of both sides.
