Actually, I understood who it was immediately. All the clues were there, though many people aren't familiar with Adamastor, so it's tougher to get image recognition from them.

Don't worry Airhead, I think you've managed to catch onto the concept more than anyone else. As well as showing a surprising talent for artistry that I didn't know you had before.

i knew it was old addy. Mostly because i reccomended him >_> but i thought the stitches were a dead give-away. (quite literally) a glowing rune may have sealed the deal for others but that would have added to the complexity of the image even more so.

If you take what you're doing now and expand to a full blown character you could have a pretty solid artistic style piece airhead.

Thanks! My work requires me to invent truth from minimal data. Make a forest from a shrub. I love this thread, my useless skill becomes useful!

Now this might just be hyperbole. Making a monster from a toe is better suited to cloning. I do appreciate the encouragement though, and I hope to someday go beyond just thumbnail sketches.

Forgot to take a stab at Bubbawheat's new ones! The one on the left - Circle of Thorns Guardian? If so, it's a great minimal. The one on the right might be something I haven't met.
