If you never have to purchase SOs from 22 to 50, just adding into the new slots, you save a ton.

How many times have you sold a recipe for 15k? chances are, someone is willing to buy the crafted recipe for 1m.

The problem with that is that the reverse is often true...Why buy the enhancement for 1mil when you can get the recipe for 15k? If I'm buying, I do look into things like that. I would assume everyone else does, too.

Wait...Are you saying it's better to keep the level 25 frankenslotted IOs in until you hit 40-50 than to upgrade them every five, ten levels?

First of all, you assume wrong. Those million-inf enhancements made from thousand-inf recipes do sell.

If you frankenslot everything you have at 22, then as you level up, each odd level just adding 2 odd enhancements - even if they're just commons or other frankenslot pieces - you will generally be ahead of SOing and save yourself a ton of money.

It's actually closer than I expected though it appears Mu is about 10%, maybe more like 5-8%, more effective than Soul for my playing. Perhaps someone else can play either Mu or Soul on a Brute more effectively than I?

*EDIT* It's probably a factor of two things... 1) I'm very effective against Fakes and they rarely, if ever, bubble against me. When they do bubble it's due to a 90% chance to hit miss. 2) To be that effective requires special timing and NOT using Fences until after the KO Blow to finish. So Fences isn't used often on packs that contains Fakes. Against non-Fake packs I can spam every AoE I got every time it is up.

Im thinking of making a Farming Stalker, cause im not really that strong Villian side.

You might want to consider elec/nin if you want a farming stalker; Smoke Flash is a pbaoe placate, useful when going against a full mob.

As for the whole Mu vs. Soul thing, I prefer Soul with my SS/Fire, since I don't always use her for simply farming; the -ACC with Soul is appreciated. I use Mu on my SS/Inv because of the greater damage output from BL, but only because she takes a bit longer to defeat enemies and thus the DoT is more likely to last. I don't really care for electric fences but that's a personal choice.

Either way, I appreciate usage of both and respect players who choose to use one or the other; especially since I see the merits in using both.

I'm a bit of an oddball. I farm Borea missions on my Dual Blades / Electric Armor Brute at +1x6, with bosses enabled. I've done +2x8 without much difficulty, but I prefer +1x6 for the speed factor.

I use a Stone Melee/Energy Aura Brute and plow through Nemesis in my downtime.

I do freakshow with my Dark Armor tank's second build with fireball. It's a level 49 mission I have set to -1/x8.

The -2 mobs die incredibly fast, it's easy and relaxing as hell, plus I get purple drops.

Alright, I just finished running Liberate at +2x8 with bosses with my SS/Fire/Soul. I had it top out at 480k inf/minute, but it went down and averaged anywhere between 415k-420k inf/minute.
