Thank you so much Ranjani, like I said I figured it was a dumb question. Ok so with wings, a couple looked like veteran rewards, but were some wings some kind of costume inventions of some sort? That confused me a bit.
Yes, some are invention wings. At the beginning of the second link you can see the craftable ones.

Valkyrie wings come with the Mac edition stuff
All other wings are costume recipes. You make them the same as Invention Enhancements and Temp Powers, by character.
However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator
If there's a set of wings you want, let me know. If I've got the recipe, I'll give it to you. I think I have most (if not all) of them.

Heroside it's really easy to go from Atlas park, to the vanguard Depot to RWZ, where there are normal crafting benches (as well as Vanguard-item-only benches) and a tailor for both sides there.
