A couple of (hopefully easy) bind questions
Can't help with #1 as I've never recolored my chat bubbles. I would of assumed that if you're doing the say in /local that it would end up with the same colors as other local chat...but apparently not.
#2 however, I can help with.
To get a saved version of all binds on a character use /bind_save_file {path/name} to save all of the binds on a character to a text file.
example: /bind_save_file c:\mybinds\myblaster.txt
Then you can just edit the binds you want to change and reload the file with
/bind_load_file c:\mybinds\myblaster.txt
This will re-do all listed binds in the file.
It won't get rid of any binds that you delete from the file..so if you do that, then you should clear all existing binds on the character [via the options screen/keybinds tab] before doing the re-load.
You can also manually unbind keys with the /unbind {key} command.
6000+ levels gained and 8 level 50's
Hello, my name is Soulwind and I have Alt-Itis.
You can also manually unbind keys with the /unbind {key} command.

That's also a handy one to use in your text file.

There is a small difference between the two unbinds:
/unbind <key> returns the key to its default state
/bind <key> nop makes the key do nothing

Thanks for all the answers to question #2. Anybody out there have an answer to #1?

Take a look at the Wiki's Known Issue page. Overall, there's a problem with the colors in binds. The part I linked to may have some workarounds for you.

Awesome! Thanks for that. You wouldn't happen to know if there's a color chart anywhere showing the hexidecimal values for the colors in the costume creator would you?

Try this
Just noticed that has names, not sure if that works or not. But a lot of color charts in the same category.

Edit: yay StarGeek! That chart's a good start. Do the names used on that chart correspond to the names on standard hex-color charts?

I think some of the folks who are colorblind drew one up some time ago... but I can't remember where it might be. Might try a search using "colorblind" as a parameter.

You can always PM Altoholic Monkey here or on the RO boards and ask.

Arc 180901: Flight of the Dreadnought
I tried finding the old guide to binds thread, but it doesn't seem to be around anymore, so I have two questions about binds.
1. While setting up some chat binds (i.e. "Gather for RA" etc...) I wasn't aware that it would display these with the normal black on white chat balloon. I would like this to display in a chat balloon with the same colors I have altered mine to with the in-game options. How exactly do I do this? Especially once you get away from the basic red, blue, etc...
2. I have some characters that I haven't played for a while that I tried making binds for, but now I have no idea what they were. I also know that I made a few errors when trying, as these were my first attempts. How do I go about finding those old binds and deleting them?
Thanks in advance for any help!
