Fire/MM

I started a Fire/MM Dom and have been having fun with her. Just got to 12. She's mostly a theme-character (she's basically my take on Typhoid Mary).

Has anyone played a Fire/MM Dom to high level and are they any good?

Fire/Psi used to be the top farming toom redside until PSW was nerfed. It is still a fun and effective set, just not the monster it used to be.

In my opinion fire/psi is now much better since i15. Yes PSW got nerfed but the rest of the set got buffed big time. Before /psi was a pain to level before level 38(PSW). It is still a good farming toon and very fun to play. It still may be the best high level dom build.

Yeah, it's worth noting that Drain Psyche is one of the best tools a team can ask from a dominator.

They were a brass ring combination. Difficult to work up, difficult to build out, but once done absolutely incredible.

Still a very good build. I've had one for years and still love playing it. One of my first CoV toons actually.

Fire Cages + Flash Fire = An AoE control that pretty much functions like a hold. One that's up for every spawn.

Drain Psyche + Psychic Scream + PSW = Pure AoE carnage! Learning to leverage Psychic Scream to hit as many targets as possible isn't easy. Hover blasting is one way to do it..jumping in and out of the spawn another way.


I normally open with Flash Fire and Fire Cages. I next jump into the middle of the mezzed spawn and hit Drain Psyche. Next, I hit Psychic Shock Wave. Followed up by liberal applications of Psychic Scream.
