Couple Questions About Some of the New Temp Powers

Backup Radio: Anyone knnow what attacks the PPD Hardsuit pet has?

Hand Grenade: Does this do knockback or knockdown?

Med Pack: Is this an interruptible heal?

You are absolutely correct.

The description does not specify interruptable.

Deduction, on the other hand, points to the power being interruptable.

I cannot imagine the devs creating a temporary self heal with a 3.3 second activation time without an interruptable component.

The self heals in primary and secondary power sets are not interruptable.

The self heal in the Medicine pool is interruptable since it isn't supposed to be as functional as a primary/secondary self heal.

My dear Mr. Watson,

given the available data at hand one may deduce this temporary self heal is in fact interruptable.

The Med Kit and the Med Pack are two separate powers. The Med Pack is listed under Invention Powers, since they're invention recipes. Med Kit is a mission-granted power, thus nothing to do with this thread.

Of course, this also does not specify interruptible or not, but the other heal powers with such long activation times (Aid Other/Aid Self) are interruptible.

checking the in-game detailed info for them

Med pack is NOT interruptable

hand grenades do knockback

PPD hardsuit from backup radio has:

  • laser burst
  • laser spray
  • energy punch
  • bone smasher
  • resistance (30% smash/lethal/energy)

Note (a nitpicky one at that) that knockback and knockdown are essentially the same thing different by degrees of magnitude only. The same grenade could cause knockback against one mob and knockdown (or even no effect) against another.

'Deduction' is a far cry from a factual answer.
