Enhancment Manage Screen

Post I-17; whenever I attempt to manage my enhancements the screen is "compressed". The screen itself appears normal, but the enhancements are minimized to the left and the number values are too small to read. There's a slot limit of six, but they are so small it looks like you could place nine or ten. The combine screen seems to be okay, but still smaller than previous to I-17.

I've tried adjusting the font size and screen ratio, but neither helps to resolve.

On a side note: when you mouse over an enhancment, the info pop-ups seem to be quicker, but make it more difficult to see what you're working on.

If the window is working properly on one of your toons, you can go into your options menu and select save window settings, then log back on the faulty toon and click load window settings. the buttons are at the bottom of the first settings tab. (in that same window where you change the graphics settings but on the first tab)

I have this issue with certain windows or texts being larger or smaller all the time, even if I change the font size. It's very buggy. If I click on + to add another attack tray, on some toons, it's much larger and not scaled properly. But clicking on load window settings temporarily solves this, until I call up another tray, which will still be too large.

Also, you can try to enlarge the font size in that options window. It might work. But it is buggy.

And I doubt the compression would be an issue if we could select the horizontal icons (old style) format instead of this redundant system with redundant buttons and information.

There are numerous threads about this all over the forums. This is working as intended, apparently - it was reported in closed beta many times, in open beta many times and in the general forums many times.

It's hard to read and looks bad on some (many?) monitors, but it is not broken. Just BAD.

This is what enhancements screen used to look like for widescreen users. It looks like crap. The icons are not round, and the little blue "title" bar is misshapen. The further from 4:3 aspect ratio your monitor was, the more distortion there was.

This is what the new enhancements screen looks like on a small resolution, at a not-widescreen aspect ratio. In this, I resized my window to 1024x768, which is a 4:3 aspect ratio. It looks beautiful! Actually, it looks much the same as it used to look.

This is what the new enhancements screen looks like on a high resolution (1920x1080), at 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. It looks beautiful! The icons are round, the blue "title" bar isn't misshapen... the only weird things are the size of the 'enhancement level' text (apparently not a bug, but certainly doesn't look right) and that due to there being so much more room on a widescreen monitor, there is extra space at the end.

Looks serious to me. The main issue is the size of the text, which on smaller screens (like my 15" laptop monitor) is unreadable. Sure, it's fine on big screens, but it needs a bump up really.

Exactly.

The size of the screen does not matter unless you are using a lower resolution on that larger screen. Generally, the larger the screen, the higher the (native) resolution... you might see more stuff, but everything is actually going to be smaller.

The drawback of using a lower resolution on a larger screen is that it looks like doggy doo.

Whatever their reasoning, it's still very bad if the average person actually wants to be able to read their enhancement levels without a magnifying glass.

[Edited to add...] To be quite honest, I don't give a hoot if my enhancements are ugly in my enhancement management screen - I just want to be able to look at them and tell what level they are. I don't spend a lot of time there, and the only things I need to do when I'm there are made more difficult by this supposed improvement. I'd much prefer ugly and readable, thanks.
