Attache's Anti-401k Art Collection
Very very cool piece Attache! I really like how all the colors blend together but still bring out beautiful details ... that is quite an intricate piece and just ... beautiful!

Thanks, man! And I just noticed that it got Featured in the new Artwhores Anonymous group over on deviantART. That's really cool!
Honestly, I think that BAKART did such a great job, he deserves a Daily Deviation. It would be kind of cool to see some CoH fan art get a DD. Has that ever happened?

You could nominate him.
I nomitated Cryptcrawler for a DD and he got a much deserved one. Not sure about anyone else.
Found the tardis pretty easily but I actually thought it was a chimney of some sort at first but that made no sense then I saw the your "Who clue" and knew what I was looking at. Nicely done.
Bakart's paintings are really detailed and filled with so much cool stuff I just enjoy letting my eyes wander over them at random. Awesome grab Attache!
Sidenote: That man must have either a set of custom foliage generating brushes or way too much time on his hands.

Anyway, more art!
Enter...the Cavalcader, the Grand Marshal of Malice!
My Bane VEAT gets fantastic treatment from Dominike Stanton. I think the style is perfect for a madman and I could definitely see going back to Domo for any character with a touch of the crazies.
As always, clicking the picture take you to my dA page for a better view and more background on this villain as well as a link to the artist. I originally intended him as an homage to goofy villains on the old Adam West Batman show but decided to incorporate that idea more literally based on someone's suggestion in a costume thread here on these forums.
I really love what Domo did here and he's very concise, prompt, and professional. I can't recommend him enough.

Oh, I love the crazy-face here!
When an artist can do good, unique faces I really enjoy the work much more. From your info, it seems this really captures the spirit!
*ponders creating a character that could benefit from this exaggerated style*
I was writing up a DD nomination For BAKART, when I found that he had one nominated 3/7/10, so any further nominations will have to wait until next month. (As their guideline says they won't give a DD to someone who's had one within 3 months.)
I'll just have to save that note until later.

Does that mean one can only be nominated once every 3 months or have a DD once every 3 months? I would kind of assume a DD...
That being the case, nominating may still be worth doing in case the first nomination isn't accepted.
Unless of course you mean he had a DD on 3/7/10... in which case ya, hold off on the nominating :P
I've never looked into the whole DD process but...

I had to hunt down the process for nominating a DD, and one of the DA Mods has an easy step-by-step Tute for it. Suggesting DD's, so if you think that someone's art truly deserves a DD, this is how you go about it.
Another Shadowshot! This time by Reginaldo Vicente!
I'd been following this artist for some time and was glad I could work this one in before the commission funds ran dry. I'm even more glad I did it now - this commission reminds me of why I love this costume so much. It really is one of my better efforts.
As always, clicking the picture takes you to my deviantART page where you can learn a little more about the character or hit the link and visit the artist. He's great!

During the notes with Chris, he wanted me to mention that he's very grateful for the work that some of us CoHers have been throwing his way. He says that he finds the level of creativity among the players particularly inspiring and hopes to do more in the future. As I was his first CoH commission, I feel the kind words about our community deserve a little plug:

If you like his style, make sure you visit his page and say hello. A talented artist and a super nice guy. He does "adorable" very, very well.

My psychic blaster Highbrow gets done up Kirby-style!
Taghuso is back and he's taking commissions! As always, clicking the above image will take you to my deviantART page and you can get to Tag from there.
However, since he's a friend and since he's just put out his commission shingle again, here is an extra special direct link: Taghuso's deviantART Page!
Tell him Attache sent you!

See this is how little I know about comic art, because when I read the words kirby style I expected to see a pink puffball wih your heros costume on after having swallowed him. A quick google seach set me straight but theres still part of me that wants to see what I first thought.
Either way its a nice piece, and in fact you have a gallery full of very impressive pieces here!

Don't worry about being up on all the current top names or all the famous ones of the past... It may help you get an occasional in joke (like when people mention Liefield... err, I think that's the name? I'm not all that up on names either) but you don't need to know them to enjoy the pretty arts!
I saw the prelim stuff on the Battle Through Time sequel today - I think it's going to be every bit as awesome!
Next stop 1937!

Battle through Time: Oh the Humanity! by BAKART
Doctor Epoch and his villainous future self are back at it again. This time, the year is 1937 in the final few moments of the Hindenburg.
As always, clicking the picture takes you to my deviantART gallery for a better view. You can find the artist link there.
Hope you guys like it!
