system pointer instead of game pointer?

Has anyone else been seeing a generic system pointer instead of the game's context-sensitive pointer? I'm seeing the black system arrow all the time. It never changes to (eg) the hand pointer over a glowie or door, the double-arrow pointer near the edge of a resizable UI element. This started with I17.

I'm running OS X 10.6.3 on an early 2006 Macbook Pro, Core Duo processor, Radeon X1600 w/256M, 2G RAM overall. My graphics are set to "performance".

That's great, thanks for the information. It's not a big issue in the short run. About the worst effect is trying to find the active slick target on merit vendors and salvage racks.

Out of curiosity, though, where is the "Mouse Cursor" setting? I couldn't find that option when I looked. Which tab is it on?

I saw this, and it was happening when I used <CMD>-<TAB> to switch out of, and then back into, the game. Generally, going back out of, then into, the game will clear the condition. Even more successfully if you use the mouse, rather than the keyboard, to re-enter.

I'm still seeing this problem after the May 4 patch. Anyone else?

As for mouse settings, the only thing I see in options is the section on the "controls" tab. Those I have left all at their default values. I can list all the values if it's helpful.

If no one else is seeing this, I'll report it through channels.

I'm having this problem now and cannot seem to get it fixed. Any ideas?

For me, toggling to windowed mode fixed it, and toggling back left it fixed.

Thanks, that worked for me, too.

Hey an easy fix for me is that i'll use the Command+Tab combo to switch back to my Finder or iTunes (when I have some rockin music playing on a TF or something :P) and then click back on CoH or Command+Tab back over and the cursor always fixes itself. =]

My mouse cursor worked fine until I upgraded to Snow Leopard, then I had this same problem with my mouse. The big issue for me was that I couldn't drag my enhancements in the management window.

Using Cmd+Enter, switching to Windowed mode, and back solved the problem for me too.

Thanks.
