Kheldians take more damage?
Squishy in Nova form and we used to get really killed by Voids, Quantums and Cysts. Not really any more.

But what I'm really asking about is whether or not (in human form especially) a kheldian automatically takes more damage than normal from all attacks.
I seem to recall with Issue 3 they did but that was taken out.

It would probably be very enlightening for someone to post the dev changes to Kheldians over the years. We lost some things but I believe overall we are much better off.

From what I've read SwellGuy and Bill are right. In addition to taking special Quantum damage from Quantum Array Guns Kheldians also suffered from an automatic Resistance debuff against all attacks. It was intended as another drawback to balance their utility but the Devs realized it was just crippling and removed it a long time ago.

They still do take much more damage than other people seem to take from Quantum rifles. I've been hit by them on a Warshade and a Blaster, amongst others, and I know which one took the most damage...

I was surprised to see how low the HP cap is for Khelds (esp. considering having dull pain and the increased HP in dwarf form). It's the one thing which I think will hold back an IOed Kheld from shining like a scrapper or tank.

I have a build with decent +maxhp (human only), if I add essence-boosted Dwarf (dull pain), it only goes 100 hp past the cap (like 2520, capped at 2409). Basically the same as a Scrapper with Dull Pain + accolades.
There's a line in the kheldian description during character creation that says they take more damage than normal, but I can't find any other info about this or even any other references to it.
Do kheldians take extra damage? How much? To what degree is this offset by human-form shields and dwarf-form? Was this changed at some point and just left in the description?
