DS/Poison - unfocused, request for feedback

This will be my first use of poison secondary.
Current plan is to focus somewhat on +rech
bonuses, to help bring Hell on Earth and
Noxious Gas back faster. This is about the
only character I have where Mako patron powers
even vaguely fit, so I want to try those too.

I still have a number of slots to place
(and even more to fill).

Any suggestion?

Hi, Ray,

Welcome to the /poison set. I would point out first that you could do two builds, team vs. solo. This build presented is a team build with antidote and elixir of life. If you primarily solo I would suggest two powers for extra protection or oomph.

I would find a third slot for stamina just to push it into the mid 90% enhancement. You are going to need it. Neurotoxic breath might be a little underslotted, needing a smidge more accuracy and a smidge more range to widen that cone out at the far end.

My robots/poison MM I leveled to 50 without stamina, so I wouldn't compare that build to this one too closely.

Well, I could drop Elixir in favor of hasten (to bring Hell on Earth and Noxious Gas
back faster). I like having mez-resist for my pets, as well as my team mates.

I've rarely needed a third slot in stamina since IOs came out, as the end reduction
from various sets helps a lot.

Neurotoxic Breath is getting another 1-3 slots, with some combination of
range, recharge, end reduction.

Up to 19 so far in two nights of teaming, mostly with other Demon MMs.

From what I saw Hell on Earth's Tohit and Damage buffs don't change no matter what you put in it so you might as well put 3 recharge and both resistance and defense pet procs.

Maybe I'm wrong...

I've been assuming that accuracy and damage enhancements improve the little hellfire things that get spawned.

Whether it's *worth* improving them, I don't know. Not to that level yet.

I view HoE as a nice buff for one of my pets, with an extra bonus in terms of the Hellfire Imps. I'm probably going to slot the 4 def/res aura uniques and a pair of recharge IOs in HoE to free up slots for my "real" pets. I'll be running Assault/Tactics, so the Hellfire Imps shouldn't have a problem hitting.

The Tohit portion can be buffed in HOE dont know about anyone else but im slotting 4 slots with a rech pet set for the global rech. , the last to slots will be 1 tohit buff IO , and 1 Dam Io to fill it out. until i get 2 procs for the last 2 slots.
