Comrade Hero and Friends completed.

Pencils by Ryan Stegman. Inks by Tom Parrish. Colors by Sean Ellery.

Comrade Hero tribute piece modeled after Jim Cheung's cover for Iron Man: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D Annual #1

Of course instead of just coloring this once, Sean went above and beyond and made different variations (that's what you get when a teacher goes on long service leave).

You're most welcome. Been a long time between them, but have one more Ryan Stegman piece left to come.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Currently in the process of getting more visual references/design concepts for my project and working on new set of sample pages tailored for both storyboarding and sequential pages.

I think the Soviet flag looks more striking, purely from an aesthetics point of view.
Damn but you get the best artists, CH D= /envy

Agreed, the Soviet Flag does look striking. I wasn't expecting it actually. Sean just decided to make different variations and I ended up with more than one.

True, hard to ignore that steely eyed crimson gaze of Comrade Hero...

Thanks VexXxa, it never ceases to amaze me how much time artists spend on works, the penultimate perfectionists. I think I'm back with editing and rewriting, but I can only imagine how it must be to analyze and evaluate every thing from a visual point of view.

Thanks Kat, and am always wowed by the artists who bring your femme fatales to life.

And without further ado. Comrade Hero and Graviton Girl Triptych updated: Pencils by Ian Richardson, inks by Tom Parrish and now colored by Simon Gough.

Colors came back really nice Comrade.

Graviton Girl's outfit still bugs me though. In the third panel see how the farside ...shall we say mountain peak...
is clearly in the blue while the other is completely within the red? In fact the red covers
most of the near breast going about 2/3's of the way toward her armpit.
Viewed from the other side it would be 2/3's in the blue.

Now look at GG's outfit in the 2nd panel (which is centered correctly).

It's like in panel three her outfit is facing
more toward us than her torso is.

Thanks for the feedback Christopher. I don't draw myself so can't comment on the technical aspects of what should look correct or not. I'll pass the comments on to Ian, but I'm quite happy with how the Triptych turned out.

Obviously her assets shifted while fighting bad guys and she hasn't untwisted her tunic yet... obviously.

Man, now that you mention it I can't help but see it. Even the infinity symbol is shifted. *shakes fist at ChristopherRobin*

I still like the picture overall. I like how she's faded in the background like she's the main thing on his mind.

There goes my coffee over the desk. Thanks for making me laugh. Graviton Girl is also gravity-defying girl...

Thanks to VIP login issues with the CoX Forums I haven't been able to login for a while. Finally able to do so.

Comrade Hero by Daniel Lesiter, colors by Nei Ruffino. A long time coming, but well worth the wait.
