One bug I found...
Making a Mastermind Build...selected 2 tier 1 epic power, and it wasnt unlocking the tier 3 power.
The Tier 3 would unlock if I selected a tier 2 power however.

EDIT: Well if St0n3y's right (I haven't taken a toon to the 40s since I returned) then Mace Mastery is NOT ok lol. I can select two tier1 powers and then the tier 3.
Thanks a lot to everyone working on the Mids Designer. I can honestly say that without you guys, I wouldn't enjoy the game as much as I am right now, so again, thank you for what you're doing

As always, thanks for the hard work! Mids is one of the core foundations that make this game so incredibly fun to play!
There is one weird bug though. The damage numbers are insanely high. At least, when I opened my Dual Pistols/Energy Manipulation Blaster the power Pistols is said to do 1120 damage! Don't get me wrong though, I'd love it if Executioner's Shot did 2374 damage.

Boxing on my Blaster (slotted up as a Mako's Bite IO mule) does 1382 damage.

Another possibility - if you have build up turned on (small green dot on the right hand side of power listing) it's damage boost will be applied to all powers in the power info display.

Is your mids in PvP mode? One of the buttons in the upper right hand corner sets this (Mode: PvP/PvE, Recipes: Off/On and Pop-Up: Off/On are the 3 buttons). I can't get your exact value to show in my copy but in PvP mode I show 796 base damage for unslotted pistols, 1552 fully slotted. There used to be a problem with Mids installs where they would override the PvP/PvE setting and set it to PvP. It didn't do this on my install, but it might have on yours.

Seeing the same issues with Blaster damages and +hp, and no it's not in PvP mode.

8026 Damage
The modifier table seems to be jacked up for Blasters and Controllers. Therefore, all powers for those 2 ATs have wrong numbers across the board. We are aware of the issue and currently looking into a fix. |

See post #26 on this thread, I related about the number issue. Not only damage but pool powers, some heal powers (I think only the +max hp ones like hoarfrost and earth's embrace) and set bonuses too. But only on trollers and blasters.
My Fire/kin with EE turned on has 45k hp and does 12k damage with Seismic Smash and double stacked Fulcrum lol
PvP mode: Flurry slotted + Aim + BU = 19593 damage

I need some help instaling the latest version of Mids', and I can't live with out it...
I am running windows Vista, and I get an error when trying to load the program.
I uninstaled the previous version of Mids, which did install just fine.
I saved the excutable file on my desk top
and ran it in my account with admin privileges
Yet the wizard crashes when it tried to expand the designer.exe into the : /titan network/...
Any suggestions of what to do?

I totally agree. I use a Mac for day to day things. Tha CoX Mac client is emulated, not native like the WoW one, so it runs like crap on my machine.
But even if I could run the Mac client smoothly, I'd still stick to the Windows XP client (Macs can have a windows partition since the move to Intel processors y'know) just because of Mids.
I like Herostats a lot but I could live without it.
Ok only Blasters and Trollers are bugged in my install (I did download from the site, but still don't know if I'm the only one having problems). And I noticed more, my def is higher on the fire/kin build because a lot of numbers are bugged on those two ATs:
- Damage numbers are augmented. For example, it says Dominate does 467 dmg. I know it's not a decimal error because its base is 30.6 iirc. Flares (Blaster) does 518 base damage, Inferno 3878... All the Blaster/Troller powers are affected here.
- Weave is giving me base 5% def on Blasters and Trollers (same as Tankers, who have the highest values for this), that is why my firekin has higher def, I don't have Weave on him but I have Maneuvers, and Maneuvers is giving 3.5% base def on those two ATs (same as defenders which have the highest values).
An old issue remains btw - Stalker Patrons show double damage, as if they were used from hidden status (or crits), like Dark Blast doing 111 instead of 55.5, I didn't expect it to be fixed now but just to let you know.
I'm just trying to be constructive btw I find it awesome that Demon Summoning is released at the exact time
