Sisterhood Sunday Event - Special Anniversary Edition

In honor of City of Heroes 6th Anniversary this week The Sisterhood will be holding a Special Anniversary Edition of our regular Sisterhood Sunday Event.

Date: Sunday, May 2, 2010
Time: Starting at 12 Noon PDT going until ???
Where: Meet at Positron in Steel Canyon

SH Sunday Event Special Anniversary Edition:
The Sisterhood will be running task force teams for The All New Positron Task Force.
We will have teams running continuous as long as there is enough participants.
This should allow everyone the chance to experience the new task force on as many of their alts as they like.
We will most likely be looking for some volunteers for Team Captains depending on the response.
If you would be willing to be a Team Captain please post here, at The Sisterhood and Friends Upcoming Events or contact GEL @GEL or Outlaw Woman @Outlaw.
We will not be running this Task Force in a Race format, but we would like your team times to be reported.

We look forward to experiencing the new task force with all of our friends this Sunday. See you in Steel Canyon Sunday.

I'll certainly be bringing as many of my alts to the party as I can find time to do... Some of course have been on a shelf/retired for a very long time... Not even sure if they stand a chance not knowing their enh's and doubt a few have anything more than SO's...

Looks like I should be there. Originally I was going to be repairing my fence this weekend, but we can't get the utility companies out to check for buried stuff until later in May, so I'll be gaming this weekend instead.

I have told the wife that this weekend is "Matt is locked in his office and will only come out for food, tea, and Bios" all other priorities are recended. This includes the Prime Directive of Marriage, if the wife aint happy, aint nobody happy.

With that being said, I plan to run with the group as much as I can.

I am postponing the NSTF event for a week so me and my SG mates can all take part in this event. I have tons of alts on Liberty so at least 1 or two can do use this Task Force.

I will also head a team if needed.

I did this on my scrapper but missed most of the 2nd half cause my neighbor came over. Thank goodness I got 2 girls that play also. My oldest took over my toon and finished the TF for me. But my emp defender is next in line to get it then the rest of my alts.

Player Run In Game Events!

The Liberty Server has it going on this anniversary!

If you want to check out the new Task Force content in Issue 17: Dark Mirror, you could try the Sisterhood Sunday - Special Anniversary Edition, where they plan to get as many folks through the newly improved Positron Task Force as is superpossible!

If keeping Earth safe from the Rikti menace is more your cup of tea, then you'll probably want to check out the Alpha and Omega RWZ Challenge, which will include a 6th Anniversary Costume Contest.

There is great stuff happening on all the servers, so go take a look at the server forums on the Official City of Heroes Message Board to get in on the action.

We ran Part One of the New Postiron task force last night to get a feel for it and are going to try to run Part Two tonight.

So if you would like to join us, give us a shout when you see us online.

The plan for The Sisterhood Sunday event is that there will be one of us (GEL or myself) with Positron all day to assist teams forming, recording team captains and team rosters and getting the teams started. The other will be leading a team on the task force.

Using this format we can keep teams starting as they are formed therefore eliminating wait times and allowing players to come and form teams when they are able. This should allow more folks the opportunity to join us on the new task force.

At the end of Part One and Two, either GEL or myself will be waiting at Positron to record your team's finishing times. The Sisterhood is compling a database of TF completion times, to come up with an average time and we will be adding the new TF to the database and we want to include your teams times.
