Why can't...

Female toons get anything added to their skin? It stinks that all the secondary options aren't available under the tops with skin.

I am curious why only male toons can have tattoos( even then, it's all Yakuza tattoos). I would love to see option that can go under shirts and such. I suspect it would require a new layer to the system and thus adding greater strain to server performance(most costumes use two layers of graphic).

The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

Not sure, it just sucks that the female toons skin cant get tiger stripes and such. It all has to be under tights, which don't look nearly as good. Wifey wants tattoos for her female toons also.

I don't see how that is any different than the Male model.. the male model does not even have a Skin option. They are all tights except for the specific Tattooed/Bare Chest, which doesn't accept any secondary pattern either.

To make a tiger, you simply pick a similar skin color* as your primary Tiger color. I think I have 3 female Tiger toons that look just fine. They even have costumes that have jackets, roman gear, and still have the stripes underneath.

*even if your color is slightly off, you can simply use the cat collar shoulder option and it masks the neck line so you wont notice.

I am pretty certain that it is related to that you only have one skin layer.

And that skin layer is reserved to have something covering the female breasts, as they mustn't be bare breasted. So you would need to be able to combine a required top with a tattoo or another pattern.
When using the tight option they can put any layer on top, and, as Master-Blade said, making a tiger or cheetah that way is for sure a possibility.

As for the option to have female tattoos or other patterns - I would like too.

You're wrong. You can go to Bare Chest Muscular or Smooth, then choose options for a design for the chest. On the female model, every Tops with Skin option is what you get. Theres no option to add any design to the skin. I was wanting Tiger stripes on the skin to match the male toon i had made on another account, and it don't match at all. I was wanting them to look alike and the female disappoints in that she just looks like she has on a suit, and not an actual "mutant". Whereas the male toon, actually looks like the stripes are on or in his skin.

Yes, you can add it to tights, as those are complete body suits. And a side note, you can't even make the tail (which is part of the body) the same color as your skin. It has to be from the color options from the suits.

I don't know how I missed the non-tattoo option when I looked. I should have known it was in there somewhere. lol

To be fair, those are still found in the Tights category, and simply default to use the skin color. I doubt they would create a "Bare Chest" option for a female, and Tiger would "expose" too much as well if it weren't for using Tights. That's probably why you can't do it.

Sounds to me like the real issue here is that the costumes and skin use different color pallets and you have a harder time getting them to exactly match. Even if you could, you probably still wont get a detailed skin texture for the Female as you can for the Male, so it would end up looking almost the same as it does now. If you want them to match, you'll have to change the male.

You're also wrong in your assumption. The male tops (with skin) that are direct equivalents to the female tops with skin (Tanker, Tank Top, Tattooed Tank Top, T-Shirt and Tattooed T-Shirt) do not permit the use of a secondary pattern either. There is no direct female equivalent to the male bare chests in the game.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

Its not an assumption. I have 2 pcs side by side, and we made 2 toons at the same time. I know females cant have bare chest, but under tops with skin, theres no secondary choice. It shouldnt have to be bare chest to just add lines, stripes, or whatever to the skin that IS shown.

And tshirt, and tanker is no way close to tops with skin for females. Look at the amount of skin shown. Tshirt covers the whole upper body whereas tops with skin, do not.

The costume creator only supports two colors per costume item, and on an option where skin is visible, one color is reserved for skin color.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.
