Which redside arc features...

Spoiler warning for those that care


I'm running through the redside arcs with a friend and trying to show him some of the cooler ones.
We just finished the Marshall Brass arc and I was thinking it was different than last I played, that or I'm thinking of another arc.

I thought it was Prof. Echo that did all the hopping around when you fought him. But maybe it's someone else.

The mission I'm referring to has you fighting some boss that keeps coming back every time you beat him. Sometimes even appearing right before he dies... Does anyone know which arc this is?

Yes, it's Prof. Echo who you fight repeatedly and the arc is in two parts... AFAIK it hasn't changed.

Yeah I thought it was, but we did the last mission last night, the defeat Prof. Echo once and for all.
In the mission he was talking to Dr. Aeon?
Thing is. He went down quick and never came back.
He'd chronoported just after defeat in the previous missions.

It might have been because I was solo or something the 1st time.
It just seemed like he kept cloning himself. Everytime you'd put him down he'd click his watch and another him would appear, or run around the corner and fight you.
At one point I was fighting two of him.

But, like I said, at the end of Brass' arc he just fell down dead...
So, does he appear in another arc down the line and if so who's arc is it?
Or did we just manage to put him down to quick this time?

I think one was Dr Aeon. He has a cameo in the mission.

That's not a redside arc. That's one of Mercedes Sheldon's hero arcs, "The Magic Man"

Thats the one! I could've sworn it'd been redside though. Guess thats one of the side effects of severe altitis.

Always stuck out in my mind as one of the more interesting battles, was the devils timepiece he was using. Anyone know of more like this on either side? Just missions in general that stray from the normal formula or give you unexpected objectives.
We're duoing our way through and actually reading the content this time.
Makes it more interesting in my opinion.

I don't think there's any others quite like that one. Mercedes Sheldon's hero arcs all do weird things with ambushes, but that's the most interesting one.

However, I'm pretty fond of Darrin Wade's arc, which is redside. The last mission is very unusual. I believe you get given him automatically at level 20 these days.

Unfortunately, the "Living Armor" in that arc broke a long time ago and as far as I know hasn't been fixed yet. It used to actually be totally stationary and untargetable, indistinguishable from the armor that's normally in the Midnighter Club, but now they have idle animations and can be targeted (though not attacked) from the start...

Maybe you're thinking of Trapdoor?

Went back and checked my newest heroes and yep it was The magic man I was thinking of.

Thanks for the tip about Darin Wade. I've never run his arcs before so I'll have to check em out!
