You may have forgotten, or not been present for, the several villain raids we ran. The first few we had plenty of people show up, then interest died off. The last couple attempts failed due to lack of participation. Each failed raid makes it harder to get people out for the next attempt.
So.. the decision was made and announced a few weeks ago that we were going to forgo villain raids for awhile.
We did not make a half-heart attempt and then throw our hands up and walk away from it. It was made very clear that the interest in consistent villain side raids does not exist.
Now... I'll make a suggestion: This thread is for organizing this weekends Hero-side raid.
Why don't you start a thread for discussion of villain side hami raids? Perhaps we can come up with some ideas of what we need to do to reinvigorate interest red side.

The raid took 1 hour, 15 minutes from the start time (3pm Pacific, 6pm Eastern) until Hamidon was dropped, and the Hive was nearly full.

Now, I'd done a lot of the old raids, and very, very few new ones. Plus being out of the game for 3 months took its toll. But this was absolutely smooth as silk. Thanks for such a great return to the game, Kid and everyone

PLEASE NOTE THE DIFFERENT START TIME
Hero Hamidon Raid.
Saturday, April 24th, 3 PM Pacific (4 PM Mountain, 5 PM Central, 6 PM Eastern).
kidengineer will be leading the raid/coordinating the teams.
A few points to remember:
* Warburg Bio warheads greatly help. If you can please acquire one for the raid.
* The Hive is restricted to level 45+ heroes.
* The raid team leaders will use the Request channel to coordinate the teams. Please monitor the channel for instructions, but do not use it unless you are one of the raid team leaders
* It will hold 50 heroes, if the Hive fills up, do not leave the zone, there is no guarantee you'll get back into that instance.
* The Hamidon will spawn (bloom) 3 sets of Mitos at (75%, 50%, and 25%), in addition to the mitos that initially spawn with him.
* After Hamidon is defeated you will have the option of selecting 53 Reward Merits or a random Hamidon Origin Enhancement if you are level 47+.
Please pass this information on in global channels and other forums, especially the updated time.
