Demons debuff.. poison debuffs.. attacks from demon set debuff.. demon also has a build-up like power for your pet (living hellfire).

Win?

It seems like a combo with good synergy. You've got a melee-using Tier 3 henchdemon, whom you can send in to take the alpha* and anchor Noxious Gas the Poison tier 9 on. The Ember demon's heal can supplement your own, too. And as you say, the Demon debuffs will stack with Poison debuffs.

* Very useful when you have only a single target heal.

What powers in poison are easily skipped? Solo I'm thinking of skipping the rez, the hold, and the sleep trap

/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.

Ok, skippable powers... Poison Trap, Antidote (debatable but my opinion), and the rez. You do want the hold. It is very useful. The rez can be useful too, but only if teaming.

Depends on what you will be using the MM for. Poison lacks quite a bit in AoE debuffs and AoE control.

For PvP it will be an excellent combo in 1v1 matches against a melee AT or Ranged blaster.

I'll most likely be taking a secondary few will be taking, TA; for its functionality in team PvE, Team PvE as well as PvP.

I was thinking about going /poison since I never have before and the T3 demon is melee I believe so it seems good to me. Anyway, I was looking on mids at the /poison powers and I see they take accuracy. Is accuracy only needed in pvp or do you need to slot for accuracy in pve also? Is there a way to have mids tell me this?

The accuracy is needed in PvE.

Yes, they need accuracy.

As for skippable powers; the Poison version of Poison Trap is skippable. The rez only matters if you team. Antidote is more debatable; you can skip it, but it does help against things like Confusion, and you can slot a Steadfast -kb into it. And as said, the hold is useful.

Paralytic poison has a base recharge of 16 seconds which isn't too bad for base, the same as Petrifying Gaze in Dark Miasma. Controller holds are 8 seconds base for powers like gravity's Distortion Field. Because Noxious Gas is on such a long timer, most poison user's adopt Hasten. Given hasten, some recharge slotting, you can have paralytic poison up a lot to reach out and touch a lot of pesky minions. The poison hold is a solid power; I would never skip it.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

Keep in mind though that for most spawns, you wont need nox gas. You mainly want to save it for the really tough fights. AV's, EB's, and when your massively out numbered due to too much aggro. Think of it like a tier 9 defensive set power. Their nice to have for when the excrement hits the fan, but not needed most of the time.
