If they have applied a code for City of Heroes, then you are correct, but if they have used say Good vs Evil then they code for the Deluxe version should work.
I started with GvE, and have since applied codes for CoH DVD Collector Ed, CoV, CoV DVD Collectors Ed, Architect Edition, and the Mac Ed.
Oh well I thought it was too good to true, but at least I will be able to get one month cheap as I have the "Good vs Evil" edition
Look for other editions too. You can apply one code for each edition so you could also apply the CoV code, the CoV collectors code, the CoH code, the Architect edition code and the Mac edition code.

Does the city of heroes deluxe edition come with a free month of playtime? i see them for sale on eBay for £2.97 sealed and unopened, it would work out a lot cheaper if I bought these and applied the codes, rather than paying the monthly subscription fee.
