If something like that happens again you will want to bug it (use the /bug command), the information you need to supply to QA is the following:
1) Mission name
2) Contact that gave the mission
3) Name of the map that had the problem (use /whereami command)
4) The EXACT location of the problem (use /loc command)
5) Description of the problem with possible steps to reproduce it
6) Preference: Cake or Pie?
(N.B.: Number 6 is optional)

I did take a few screenshots of my character standing on the object, but I haven't uploaded them yet. Stay tuned, I'll get them linked later, after I've eaten and logged in to Photobucket.
I think i know what this is. Some people will recall the Atta map that is littered with junk, and at one point the objects inside it did not render, but the objects were still there... like the car or the vending machine sitting in the middle of the cave.
It would block you if you were trying to run, and you can even stand on top of them, but you could not see them unless you had an aura or aoe power going off near it. I think Hotfeet was a good one to find hidden items at the time.
I'd be interested to see what this object ends up being.

It's not a crate or box, I had to do a bit of random jumping to get on top, and I slid off of some kind of sloped surface several times before I got my footing. Could be a rock, but I've been on this map several times before with different characters, in this specific mission and in other missions, and never seen anything in that location or run into anything in any of the hallways.
I had initially considered the possibility that it was a critter, which would have meant that the "invisible mobs" bug was back, but the fact that I could stand on it assured me that it was an object, not an entity.
My best guess is that it might be one of the locations where the Portal Disruptor could spawn, and some glitch (if it's reproducible, it would indicate a bug in a recent patch; if it's not reproducible, it might be one of those really odd latency-related issues that make Castle crawl under his desk and whisper "not there, not there, not there") caused it to spawn a solid bounding box. There's no reason for anything else to be in that particular spot, so... *shrug*
that's interesting. i don't remember anything there but i haven't run that mission in a while. i'll see if i can run it and get the same thing in the next couple of days.
Yes, thats it! Sadly... I didn't take any SS.... I could do the arc again on another toon, but would take sometime to do it. There is also another "invisible" object near the end of the map. Where the 2 small tunnles meet up. If the spawn of M.W D is static, it would be near there.

It's one of those little round table-like things with a couple of semicircular notches cut out of the top that are supposed to be in the corridors on that map. They were there when we were testing Issue 10, but disappeared sometime after. It's been a long time since I did any missions on that Rikti map, so I don't know if it's a still broken thing or something that worked, got broken, got fixed, then got broken again.

In one of his missions - Stop the Renegades, it is the last mission. Where you got to kill Capt. W.M. Dietrich. In a few spots of the map, there are somewhat "solid but invisible" items in the middle of the hallways.
