Y'know...I had this crazy idea of a duel in the arena. Only one shot is to be taken with Executioner's shot. This will be done between two Colonial era characters as they take 10 paces, turn, and fire. The first one hit loses :P

Good God, it's good to be back.
Also, Dual Pistols totally made me squee. My second character in CoH WAY back when was an AR/Dev ex-cop who signed on with First Strike Security, and between DP and the myriad of other new shinies they've added between then and now, she's finally reached her full concept.
It's just a shame Fox and Roughshod aren't around to see her bad-***-ness in action ^_^

I want to get Going Rogue so I can do the dual pistols thing too...

eh.. I don't see a reason for waiting. Sure you don't get the extra bonus stuff if you pre order.. but it's $10 cheaper. And then once it goes live, they are giving you all the extra stuff as a $10 extra content pack, minus the free time of course. Seems like a win deal to me.

I agree with Nekko. One free month of time compared to an extra 5 months with Dual Pistols and 4 Months with Demon Summoning? So I bought it yesterday.

Waiting until July for me to get an extra month of gametime isn't worth it for me. That'd just push me to Dec. 2010 for gametime. I'm sure I'll buy a year Soon™. But overall, getting Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning early is worth it, in my opinion. Also, when GR hits, I'll be in it. I'll forget having the Closed Beta access via preorder of GR, since loyalty program people get higher priority. I'm not 60 months yet, and will hit 48 in April (yay 4 years!), but I'm ok if I'm not in the beta.
Basically, new powersets now or in July and getting an extra month... well, I'll go for now.
BTW: I ran the test client loader just to see how big the patch is. 800MB... I am totally serious about this. Must be all the graphics options from I17!
