Badge Merge

I'm talking about merging badges between my own characters on my own (one) account. Where does seliing alts come into it :/

I was kinda thinking this myself.

As for the idea if it is possible I would deffiantly be interested as my main badger has like 325 badges but I don't play him anymore cause I bored with him. I would love to put those badges on a alt that I like more.

Well, I see that you changed your OP to reflect my question. In that case, I still say no. Not even if it is just for anniversary badges and others that do not effect game play. Badges are the rewards for the things a certain toon did. Not just something to be trraded to other toons.

And to answer your question, in your OP, you said " merge badge accounts" not badge lists like you changed it to.

Some badges are account-wide, and based on the player's actions, rather than that of the individual character.
Examples: Veteran Badges, rightfully so, as they're based on the Player keeping his/her account active over time.
Also, many of the AE badges, although I'm not sure that I agree with that decision on thier part.

I can see the reasoning behind keeping most of the individual accomplishment badges character-specific. Obviously, a character I roll out of Outbreak should not be sporting 1 million damage taken (that would take some serious farming to achieve), Unvieler (No Nemesis in the tutorial) and "X Debt repaid" badges (No debt calculated until higher level).

But Anniversary Badges? I could see the reasoning of "I was around at that time with an active account and logged in at that time.".
Sure, it would be a stretch, but it would make as much sense to log in to a bunch of AE badges.

Personally, I want to see the Anniversary badges accountwide for selfish reasons. I have all of them, but not on the same character. I would like to delete one particular character, but hate to see his badges go, as he was my main badger for a while.

"But what about Accolades?"
There's the question. Should a badge-hunter be allowed to earn all of the Accolades on his L1s as soon as they are rolled?

My answer is NO, and my work-around is thus:
Allow for what I call "Shadow Badges". Badges copied but unearned (on that character) will be able to be seen on the badge list, and used as titles, just not usable towards Accolades until they are earned the normal way on that character.

Edit to add: Badges earned on other characters would indeed unlock weapon skins, ("Untouchable" on your Scrapper would unlock the Tommy Gun for your next Blaster) and Costume pieces, as applicable (See: Witch Hat)

These were the ones I am not really either way about although my earlier post says the opposite. I think that anniversary badges could be done that way and can be "rp'd" to an extent.

Oddly enough I never have any of the AE badges on any other characters. I always have to earn them again.
