21 month Vet reward not showing up

I should have received my 21 month veteran reward on Feb 21st. Today is the 23rd, and still no reward. I've written NcSoft and received the standard "I am escalating your ticket for further assistance, and someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible" but have yet to hear anything back.

I've had no interruptions in service, and I assumed this was automated, so I'm not sure why I still haven't received my reward. Has this happened to anyone else?

I know it's goofy, but I look forward to those rewards every three months, and it's a let down not to get it when I was supposed to.

There have always been issues of veteran rewards awarding too early or too late for some. The problem seems to have spread at some point in the past year, with a lot of new people reporting having issues with it that never did before. I've personally had to petition for my last two rewards.

They fixed my 18 month one on January within 2 business days. It's seems like it's popping up more frequently recently, but they do tend to get it resolved quickly so it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

I've sent a petition, so hopefully it will get fixed soon. It's just annoying, it doesn't seem like something that would be that hard to get to work correctly.

Standard Code Rant applies.

Tracking timers across the account or across characters is one of the things this game has had a harder time doing than a lot of other things. Especially considering in this case it's more than purely a character database issue, it has a lot to do with the interface to the billing system, which is completely separate from the machine that runs the game.

I just recieved my 33rd vet reward. I had known that i was supposed to get it on feb 22 for the past 3 months :P I got ingame and did not have it, so i had a nerdfit ( ) and contacted ncsoft. I got a response telling me that they would escalate my ticket. After 2 hours a "higher" up said that he confirmed that i was correct and that they fixed it for me.

For some reason the fix is harder than it seems as it has been worked on for awhile now. Hopefully this will be fixed sooner rather than later.

Yeah, as has been said, it is a known and recurring problem. I had to petition for my last two rewards... both took about a day or two to resolve.

There is a widespread bug, that is eventually corrupting everyone's vet reward lists. The Dev's are aware of it, a fix is "coming." Be aware also that the current fix to this involves resetting most/all of your previous awards so things start looking really really ugly.

To get it resolved, open a ticket with support. The system is set so that if you don't update your ticket periodically, it is dismissed as resolved. If you want it fixed in a timely fashion, you have to keep your ticket hot.

Yeah, I had to nag at them for over 3 weeks to get my 51mth reward. It wasn't until I PM'd Avatea to ask if she could poke at them that I got it resolved.

Make sure you keep at them, and if nothing happens ask the Community guys to take a look. They are here to help

It is very frustrating, I keep getting emails that they are "escalating your ticket for further assistance, and someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible," and yet nothing gets fixed.

It's not like I'm in desperate need of a shoulder cape or anything, I just look forward to the rewards and it's annoying not getting them.

If I forgot to pay them, well, they'd be right on that.

Yes, but those are also completely different departments. We, as players, have no control over that angle. When I first submitted my ticket, the response I got was, "Ah, I send this over to the CoH people." Then I updated it, and got the response, "Ah, I better send this over to Account Support." Update again, "Hey there, I'm going to escalate this to someone who is allowed to fiddle with your account." Etc. etc.

If you keep updating your ticket, it should be resolved within 36-48 hours or so.

Just to clarify, updating your ticket does not mean submitting a new one each time. Each one is treated separately that way. Best to submit your first ticket ingame, then connect to the game's Support website, find your open tickets, and deal with any and all responses or updates through that.

Correct. If you don't know how to use the Support website, you're not doing it right.
