Unless you are using click to move (I can't imagine it working too well on a slide) how would dropping a portal on a jump be a problem?

Someone managed to fall "into" the reactor core in the Terra Volta respec 2 times. (Note the red bubble beneath the floor) Maybe, the dev should take a look at the geometry of the reactor core room.

Typical getting stuck (different angle) while jumping, but at a weird location with a weird pose. The pose lasted for like 10 seconds, which allowed me to take screen shots from different angle.
